For the last months I've seen SP release even more and more over buffed monsters and to be honest, after each one of these monsters was made available I kept telling myself ok enough is enough, I'm done with this game.
Why? Very simple. Almost all of these new monsters are given for free normally as race rewards and their skills description available on websites like Taringa or monster wiki made them look as game unbalancing. Fortunately until very recently it didn't turn out to be the case. I personally think that this didn't happen because the part of the player base that they were intended for doesn't know how to get the best of them.
This last statement takes me to my next point. For the last several months it appears as if the developers of the game have been trying to put every single player on the same level. But let's be honest. This can't be done simply by making and giving lower tier players stronger monsters. Like everyone else, I was at one point a low tier player and I'm still far from considering myself a top tier one. I still have too much to learn to get there. But I'm certainly no longer at the bottom.
Took me time to understand the proper structure of the way this game needs to be played in order to achieve some level of success. I learned that each attack team had roles for each one of the monsters being used. That the most important role was the one of the denier (speedster for some of you) as this is the monster that will allow you to control the opposing team. That you needed a hitter and a support monster. Took me time to understand the importance of runes and how to use them in the most adequate way possible for each occasion.
What I'm trying to say with all this is that to slowly raise the level of my game and to climb from one tier to another I had to go through a learning process.
Unfortunately, and this is the way that I see what has been going on during the last months, Social Point, by the constant release of more and more monsters that if used properly can disrupt a balance that has existed for years, has apparently tried to erase the gap naturally created between one tier and another and eliminating the learning process that most of us have gone through.
This came to a boiling point with the release of the latest Warmaster which simply gives the opposite team little to no chance of success due to the absurd level of control it's able to inflict. Social Point, the truth is that with this monster you over did it.
Please respect the system that the players (the users of the service that you provide) have created throughout years and years of experience. Please understand and respect that there's a learning process that we all went through and that the newer players complaining about how the game isn't fair have to go through as well.
Yes, you guys created the game. You coded every single piece of it. But it's us the players the ones who developed the best possible way to play it and it's worked for a long time.
Even you are aware that you can put every single player in the same bag. Just take a look at how the battlegrounds rewards and requirements are established by you.
Please stop trying to break a system that has worked for a long time. And let's hope that those who after a few months playing consider the game to be unfair understand that the ones that supposedly make it unfair were once at the same place and they did what they were supposed to do. Learn.
