Except for Count Flawless, Warmasters, and Gelotron All monsters released past what seems like 5 months have just had either hardened, or tough. I feel like it besides being really annoying of a trait to deal with, it's just really boring. I'd love to see more monsters with immunity traits. For you guys went through all the hassle to buff these traits, and yet you're not going to give new monsters them at all? Idk it just seems weird. I get the hardened, and tough are very appealing traits due to the nature of war, but I think you need to take a chill pill.

Why is Hardened, and Tough Now So Common?
Post count: 477Reputation: 135Joined:You have no idea how long I wanted to make a post like this, but thought someone else would do it. No one did, and I've finally wanted to state this problem. I feel like with the buff in immunity to stun, and freeze you could do monsters with those traits. To allow new players to get used to the changes done to them. Plus you guys need to start doing more interesting stuff besides just slapping hardened on it, and calling it a day. Try making new traits like abomination. Wouldn't mind seeing immunity to quicksand done with a new trait type.

Hardened/tough is more appealing than just one immunity, especially considering the constant addition of new denial types to different elements.
Earth was known for being stun but now we have baba yaga with possession.
Water has all 3, stun, freeze and possession.
Plus hardened/tough also work against torture effectsโ๏ธ

Post count: 1188Reputation: 1038Joined:Location: AustraliaI have to agree here. When Celestial and Abomination came out and Gravedigger, I thought that was a fantastic idea but suddenly they stopped. They are not even bringing new monsters with those existing new traits out anymore. How about a trait that protects against all versions of burning (burn, ignite, sunburn) plus one control skill? There are certainly interesting possibilities out there @Carlos

Post count: 856Reputation: 406Joined:@MonstrousManiac Boring ! Exactly this. At least they could add something more alongside the hardened trait, like they do now with newer ones, AND change the name. Make it more personal to the monster, it's Legendary after all ! No it won't be confusing, everyone clicks on the icons for the trait tooltip anyway.

Why is Hardened, and Tough Now So Common?
Post count: 173Reputation: 52Joined:I just find it impossible to believe that even the regular legendaries have status caster. It was supposed to be a special Warmaster effect.
But nowadays looking at the monsters it seems like every monster in the recent events are mostly tough which is a bit too much for monster that are easily accessible especially in races and after these events are over the cells are released in the monsterwood events.
Especially in terms of changing traits i would really wish if monster like Barbatos would have their trait changed.
Yes it would make crazy good.
Yes it's been easily picked up by players in the recent maze event. But if you look clearly this monster is one of the most powerful monster and very under used in high leagues but to be reasonable.
He Is The Brother Of A Warmaster!!I know I am a bit bias to Barbatos because he was my first attacker.
We need balancing dont we?

And I agree, Status caster should've been a Warmaster only thing. So much for Elvira introducing a "unique" mechanic. -

Why is Hardened, and Tough Now So Common?
Post count: 52Reputation: 71Joined:Location: Midwest, USAHad to shake my head seeing on wiki the latest monster added - Beledig. Guess what trait? Tough.
Skills? Single dmg with AOE poison AND extra turn. Self-evasion for 2 turns And extra turn. A delayed 3T kill as a group 2 skill... with extra turn?!?! Really tired of the crazy power creep. Seriously, why is every other new monster released WAY better than the majority of VIP monsters??
Letโs review just two...
Osur the Brave. Low damage AOE daze. A 50% stun. A 30% heal. Hit+regen. 3234 str.
Hydrox. Single dmg. 30% shield. Single 50dmg+bleed. A resistance 45dmg AOE with no effects. Zzzzzz.....I would be thrilled by a month with no breeding events, no islands, a break from team race, and letting devs focus on buffing a long list of beloved and/or underpowered monsters already out there. Donโt make โem OP but give them skill sets that would no longer been seen as unworthy of even epics.

Post count: 477Reputation: 135Joined:@BaxAttacks Just want to point out that she'll likely be nerfed upon release. The evasion also only lasts 1 turn due to the nature of extra turn skills removing a turn of status effects you have. Also I love her reaper skill due to it being a great counter for Ouros, and not just wasting her turn to use it. If I had to balance her I'd make poison single hit instead of aoe effect, increase her cooldowns slighty, and increase stamina costs. Plus give her Orc Hater, and immune to stun instead of tough......
