Contests need to be fair and geared toward different levels. So far since I started few days ago. Not allowed to do Monsterwood cause too new. Can't do breeding like most that been playing for long time unless spend fortune to get legends. Can't really compete in gold collecting cause those been playing long time have tons habitats so my trying is joke on ranking. Need contests for new players to have fun and not just those been playing long time. Just suggestion to help new players feel they have shot and are welcomed to game. Thanks

I think you will find this in most games. In the beginning you are building up your resources. Breeding and Hatching the most basic Monsters. Acquiring and leveling farms and habitats. Training up skills and developing your virtual world.
As you develop and advance in level you can do more, purchase more, grow more, have more abilities and power. If you could do everything at level 20 that you can do at level 50, what's the incentive to stay and continue to play to level 50?
So when you think about it, the game is already geared to different levels. You just need to develop the patience to play your game until you are a high enough level to use Monsterwood or be able to breed Legendaries.

I'm just thinking of new players we are recruiting from another game everyone is starting to quit due to it turning into a money game and no fun or challenges. As a new player I like to fight and the challenge of coming up with new techniques to win against those on my level. I don't enjoy just building and farming. I didn't join farmville. I want challenges too that there is a chance of me winning at. Not ones that are impossible. It takes the fun out of the game. I know if our friends join and it is a farmville type game in beginning and no challenges that are obtainable they will quit. They are coming from a war game. This is similiar but needs to draw new players in more with obtainable challenges. Just ideas and trying to help. Please don't take it as complaints. Thanks

@Janice-Stevens Maybe then this isn't the game for you also.
We all went true this period of building, farming etc. There are beginner guides to help you on here, the wiki and reddit.
I'm playing this game for a long time now and even now I still have to be patient some times to get what I want, if that is not for you then you have 2 options pay your way up or quit and find another game

I assume you're talking about the Team race challenge, which is as you said, not really fair. This challenge is known to be not really fair tho..
But I can't let you tell that as a new player, ML isn't fair.
Maze event and in particular flip card challenge get harder and harder depending on your level. What I want to point out is that they actually set up the difficulty depending on your advancement/lvl in game and I can assure you that it's really easyer for you than for me to get the monster I want in those kind of event..
But yeah, since team race is a fight between teams and (except top teams), teams are a mix between low/medium/high level, you need to deal with it for now and in a few month, you'll laugh at newbies and grab tomato as individual reward ez pez ;)

@Janice-Stevens Some challenges can be done even as a low level player. Fight Knights is one of them. However, others take a very long time to get anywhere. It took me almost a year of playing before I managed to get into the top 5000 for Gold Fever. And once you get to about level 40 to maybe 70 or so, the 72 hours card challenge is a lot easier. Once you hit Lvl >80 it becomes extremely hard to get more than one legendary! Just forget about the race, it's a disaster that hasn't been fixed yet!!!
AUSTRALIA ROCKS - Always looking for seasoned loyal players, PM me if interested

Um, good games keep new players in an environment where they don't have to compete against whales.
Both wars and team race rules should be adapted in a way to make it more newbie friendly.
Edit: Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with a race cooldown. Shut down the team hopping by implenting a simple rule: Whoever leaves a team will earn either no rewards at all or only individual rewards, but not get the legendary monster. Then create races where all teams in one race has approximately the same monster power and average player level.
