I cannot get maze coins after I reach 335 for a prolonged amount of time. Which means I won't be able to get the dragon as there is only 4hrs left. I am frustrated and might stop playing from multiple instances like this

You can collect 500 coins within the 24 hour period by feeding your dragons. Have you done that?

If you collected all coins it was still ot possible to get the dragon for free. You still would have been 900 coins short.
