Hi, Monster Masters!
Are you curious about what's coming in the next few weeks? Read below!
MULTIPLAYER MODE (live October 29th)
Currently, a majority of players who play Multiplayer mode have more or less around 4000 trophies which creates problems within certain leagues, especially in Gold 2 and Gold 1 where players have a hard time moving up. This can be very frustrating. We want to tackle these issues and improve the overall progression through the Leagues.
New League!
You can look forward to the new Champion League! Champion League will be divided into three divisions with 4000 to 5500 Trophies which means that the current Legendary League will be moved to 5500 Trophies. This will allow for a smoother progression and fairer matches for a majority of players.
Season Trophies Reset Changes
To avoid certain situations where player inactivity for a whole PvP season is being used as a strategy, which could be demotivating for players that actively try to climb the ladder, the Trophy reset will be changed from the current 4000 Trophies to 5000 Trophies (Champion League - Division 1). All players above 5000 Trophies will be reset to this value.
Better Season Rewards
For the new Champion League, the rewards needed to be revised in order to follow the logical progression. This means that you can look forward to better and improved rewards from the Silver League and above!
TEAM BATTLEGROUNDS
We have gathered a lot of feedback and data from the last three Team Battlegrounds and, after analyzing everything, we’ve decided to introduce some radical changes to the event. We will be focusing our attention on two main aspects of the Battlegrounds: The Recover System and Restrictions.
Recover System - Removed
Our initial goal with the Team Battlegrounds was to make an event that pushed players to expand their “army” of Monsters and to use that army to take part in intense battles against enemy Teams. We now believe that the Recover System worked against that initial vision because it gave players a way to re-use a small set of Monsters over and over again, rather than focusing on optimizing a large army. What does this mean for the next iterations of the Team Battlegrounds? Well, it means that once you use a Monster in the Attack Phase, you won’t be able to use it again for the rest of the event. Players will now need to take this into account when deciding which Monsters they will acquire, level up, rank up, equip, etc., in the days or weeks leading up to each the Battlegrounds event, as well as which Monsters they will dedicate to Defense and Attack.
Restrictions - Adjusted
Without being able to recover your Monsters, the event would become almost unplayable for most Teams due to the extremely high restrictions. Therefore, we’ve decided that we will be radically dropping the restrictions for every single difficulty tier. This means that all players will have a much larger set of Monsters that they can use during the event. Initially, we will only request specific Rarities and Ranks and we will progressively introduce Element and Book restrictions in the future.
Although we are still experimenting with the format for this event, we believe that these changes bring us extremely close to being able to remove the “Beta” tag from the event.
TEAM WARS MATCHMAKING
In a few days, you might notice some changes in the quality and speed of the Matchmaking for Team Wars. We are working on something big that we will reveal in the near future, but meanwhile, enjoy these new and improved matches.
Please, let us know if you notice any strange behavior.
Thank you very much!
