Yet again, I have tried to make a purchase, which has failed to materialise. It should be noted that the payment goes through instantly.
I advise all to check your bank accounts (PayPal, whatever), very thoroughly when you try to make a purchase and it doesn’t appear to go through, because you can rest assured that the payment goes though and it’s very easy to miss it.
Socialpoint’s customer service is terrible and they simply direct you to Apple. You then have to go through the back and forward slog of trying to convince Apple that you have been stitched up......again!!
When I complain to Socialpoint, I never receive a direct response to my actual query. About 5 days later, I usually receive an email asking whether my query has been resolved. Note to Socialpoint - you actually have to address the query in the first place before you ask whether it has been resolved.
It is truly painful.......
