Hello everyone and welcome to my 2nd analysis, this time featuring Alex Bone.
Alex Bone is the reward of the Big Heist Race, and as such he is most likely obtained at Rank 3, making him an all-around powerful choice. However, Alex Bone's moveset is also very good, featuring an AOE Stun and the unique Evasion buff; a buff that dodges all attacks AND status effects while it affects the monster. This makes him a key player in Thunder wars which are plagued by VoltaiK and Zyla the Faithful- Alex Bone wastes their Stamina with its evasion, and is unaffected by Zyla's annoying Daze. Moreover, he can dodge the deny moves of slow deniers in the opponent's team and hit them hard afterwards.
-Pinheiro, Max Authority
-My Cellmate HakaTaka
-Hellfire's Furlough/Contrived Outbreak
-Paying the Marshall
Runes: 2 Speed, 1 Strength/3 Speed
Pinheiro has a very good 40 Base Power and is an AOE Stun that's unresisted. HakaTaka gives Alex Evasion and deals AOE Thunder damage, while having 40 Base Power. Hellfire's Furlough has the golden 45 Base Power and is an AOE Daze; while its effect is underwhelming next to the first 2 moves, Daze can actually be very helpful with dodging your opponents' move effects or the moves themselves, not to mention softening attackers. If you're still not impressed, Contrived Outbreak has a very high 60 Base Power, is unresisted and it Stuns the target. Paying the Marshall is another Evasion move. 2 Speed runes allow Alex to move before most Thunder monsters and apply his AOE Stun or use HakaTaka for Evasion. 1 Strength rune increases his high damage output to even higher levels, and since he is very likely at level 115, a single Strength rune will be sufficient. You can also use 3 Speed runes to make Alex a completely deny-dedicated team member, though he will miss out on power this way.
Teammates: Alex Bone is more of a monster that sticks to a team rather than one you build around since his moves are all very good on their own. However, you can use Precision-granting monsters like Lux Aura to make his AOE Stun hit more often. Nox the Condemned can use Abducted Soul on Alex with Evasion without fearing the death of an ally.-this strategy is viable with any move that grants immunity like Space-Time or Queen Luthien's shield.
Countering Alex Bone: Any monster that can remove positive effects from enemies will pose a threat to Alex, since he is vulnerable without Evasion. Also, even with Evasion, Alex is still vulnerable to CDs Activated. Monsters that are immune to Stun are also helpful to damage him after he uses his AOE Stun.
