Originally, this post detailed 6 dragons that were in the Dragon Book but were never released. Now that all of those original Dragons have been released, I will be updating this post with any Dragons added to the Dragon Book that haven't been released.

EDIT: In addition, to prevent clutter in another topic, this will also be a list of Dragon Numbers that are yet unfilled & new Dragons that are announced every month in the Upcoming Events post. Please note: not all new Dragons are announced in the Upcoming Events posts; dragons available through offers or through other means are rarely, if ever, announced in advance.

Yep they are on my list as well. I also have Bling on my list I do not remember it releasing either. And as a collector I want them all.

I am sorry. I had to delete all these. We dont allow unreleased stuff here. So if these dragons are not in the book, I am sure most of them are not, they are not released. I have not the time to check one by one myself. Feel free to repost the ones you find in the book.

This may be wrong but I think Gurkul went on sale around the Weather Machine? I have a bad memory so it may have been someone else.

It was obviously someone else then, someone fish like maybe that’s why I’m confused.

@_thespacebeing_ Gurkul was not released itself, but a dragon very similar to it was released during the hallo-muertos island, a little bit before the weather machine.

Either way, it remains unreleased.

What about the Collection reward for the Primal Offspring collection? I think it's the Frilled Dragon? It's so pretty but I think it's unobtainable...

Yeah, that remains unreleased as well.

How I see the Frilled Dragon compared to the others: The Frilled Dragon is like the Fiery Dragon. It's unreleased, but has a foreseeable time in which it will be released.

The 6 above are most likely gonna be through Islands or Offers, but the Frilled Dragon is a Collection. That's how I see it, at least.

Both were added to the book within the last month, I think it is too early to add them to the list. Personally I am guessing one of them will be the reward for the monthly card pack.

I'd assume Init, since it's a Legendary Dragon.

I think Sketch will be added into the Book in due time...once they realize it, of course.

Well, here's my thought process on this: Obtaining Unbreakable from Chests is too rare of an occurrence to be considered a wide-release to everyone, compared to say an Offer or an Island Prize. This is further proven difficult by how rare these chests are and how much commitment (i.e. money) you put into getting to these two chests. That's the main reason why I don't consider Unbreakable released as of this point.
When it becomes available as an Island Prize or an Offer, that is when I consider it to be a wide-release to everyone.

It’s been a while since these were added, do you guys think maybe they were forgotten or meant to be used in an event that never saw the light of day? Modern looks pretty cute, such a shame he’s unobtainable.

tbh, I don't understand this classification anymore.
I thought VIPs are the dragons you can get for real money only. Durian was placed twice on puzzle islands, antimatter was in a previous breeding event but both are considered VIPs.
In fact, the whole mythical set is being considered as VIP.

Just realised 1 dragon. Raven dragon ( Heroic - Dark, War, Legend) first appeared in nyxonite rescue but not in dragon book yet

Well technically I don't think Sketch should be added, only because you cannot get it before the collection is complete and we are only halfway there.

As to your first question I am not sure. Didn't Ancient used to be in the Dragon book? The same with the Special Cool Fire, I think that one used to be in the book. And wasn't that one that began with a G used to be in the book then they took it out. I forget it's name but I think it is or was on DCG net. Now it is going to drive me crazy trying to remember it's name because a few weeks ago I finally removed it from my spreadsheet.

EDIT: It's name is Gnarling...the OCD in me made me dig through some old copies of my spreadsheet to find it.

@nynaevelan Could you dig up the old designs, if you could find them? I love cut/unused/altered content.
