What about sharing a screenshot for your attack team and your opponent
as a feedback and in hope that SP work a bit more on more balancing matching mechanism

Lots of new posts about pvp I can share my thoughts but I choose this one hoping that someone at SP is reading this @Fox
I could stand my ground and still can in PVP despite all changes, but only because I chose to wait halve a day to attack im now at 4055 points nobody is attacking me and im attacking nobody now going to wait 2 weeks to stay in L4.
I somehow dont think this is the way to play pvp but this is what it now for me

@PredakingX I think they will probably say that this is the new normal. If you want more attacks spend gems. I too have been battling with the end result being that I am dropping faster than I am rising. I have already dropped to the league below, if the loss rate does not abate, I will be in danger of dropping another league.

The issue is the current algorithm which does not propose the right opponent: we are all having opponent with globaly 10% more points than us. If it was properly calibrated to be at +/- 1%, everybody would be happy. I assume that it should be not be technically too complex to change...
The issue is not SP choice to remove the "refresh opponents" (even if everybody is not in line with it).
Without such change, it is clear that everybody will stop playing Multiplayer...

@Sigge I dare not look! Lost over a 100 this morning without a move from me in all three battles.
It's choosing opponents 4-500 trophies above my level, and doesn't take any notice of the attack team I have. Am starting to wonder whether I should turn my single 130 monster into cells, then my max is 120.

@Jason-Sparling Exactly! And how is the new thing fair?! All we are is easy pickings for level 130s. Yeah, let me put my level 100, 110, & 115s against level 130s that I am fairly certain have speed level runes of at least a 7 and see if I can win. Brilliant!

@Marianne-van-Es Game glitches on me several times last 2 seasons costing me at least 300 trophies. Last season I was 2 away then glitches so I was knocked down. I should be in legendary IV but I am not & now I can't get there because I can't attack. No one has attacked me because probably the teams that see mine don't attack because I am higher than them so no revenge option.
I think the biggest problem for me is all the people who complained so much that now we have this kind of PvP. The only complaint I had before was that sometimes it took 20 searches to find a team to battle but I just stopped playing it than filing a ticket.

I can't come close to competing anymore in pvp's. They're all level 130 with level 10 speed runes!!!!! I'm sinking like a led baloon from Legendary 4 league. More than just refresh button changes had to have taken place. I'm stuck fighting "bought" teams which isn't fair at all! No likey!!

i have been defeated several times by players with lvl 100 monsters and runes V max (i'm in legendary IV , 110-115 monsters, lvlX runes, way better combinations), normal monsters, one with no real deniers. I guess FB attacks are again vs un-runed monsters. this game starts to suck. Since the company was sold to TT is going down and down... terrible decisions, terrible management, support, bugs everywhere... I wont spend a single penny anymore

@Haka-Taka Here's what my attacking options routinely look like.
My attackers are Demise lvl 110 with 3 x lvl 10 speed runes, Barbatos lvl 100 with 3 x lvl 10 strength runes, Ophichus lvl 100 with 3 x lvl 7 team speed runes. I bought the runes since I was routinely fighting lvl 115 and lvl 120 teams and needed them to be competitive. Now all I see for the most part is lvl 130 teams which means I won't bother attacking since my team gets instantly wiped out at that point without ever getting an attack in. If the algorithm for choosing what were reasonable fights was based more on attacking team level and less on points in the legendary tier ladder that would make it a lot more pallet-able. As it was I often went through all my refreshes and still wasn't attacking due to the level disparity or gambling fighting teams of lvl 120 or lvl 115 monsters if they were displayed. As it is if you added the levels together my team is out classed by 80 levels (390 vs 310) at this point there's no need to try to pvp anyone.

@grypas Hi all you players with lvl 130 monsters and lvl 10 runes. You may all enjoy spending huge money but what about the ordinary player with lvl 100 and 105 monsters lvl 7 to 8 runes. We get the same matches as you with even less hope. I did make it to L4 but went quickly down to mid gold 1 at beginning season 7. Like many of you matches are too ridiculous and once an avid pvp player dont anymore other than a couple of revenge attacks to stay in gold gave up L4.

The last six attempts to do PvP, all opponents have been filled with 130 Samuels and other fully ranked Nemesis'. Not just 1 per team, but multiples. I am in Legendary IV and all these players are Legendary I. Waiting for the refresh to happen the same teams come up. In the past season being in Legendary IV I never saw a Legendary III or higher. Matching went from bad to worse. Seriously, do any of the coders or 'architects' event play the game? If they did, they would see how absurd these changes are.

The current matchmaking system seems to only want to pit you against enemies with higher trophy count for all 3 slots. I understand their intention is that if you want to advance you need to take down harder opponents, but at a certain point it leaves many players without a reasonable target to fight.
One way to better balance it is, use a different algorithm for picking opponents for the 3 different slots. For example, 1st slot is what it is now, an opponent with higher trophies than you, then 2nd slot, opponents with trophy count +10/-10 from you, then 3rd slot an opponent with 50 or more trophies below you.
This will give players an option to PVP always, and will not interfere with event currency earning as many events are tied to PVP (I can't imagine people doing progressive island with the current model).
If you truly want people to not be able to advance in ranking in PVP, all you have to do is set the trophy earned from defeating the weaker opponent lower. For example, if a defeat will cost you 33 trophies, make it so that if you fight 3 low enemies, you only get 11 trophies each fight. That way it stalls advancement from only attacking someone lower.

That's insane. Have you noticed an increase of defense wins. I have and wonder if it is related to an increased gap between who everyone gets to fight. Most people are complaining about having no choices of who to fight. I personally am at 13/28 attacks won which is really low, and explains why I am having such a hard time moving back up into L4. But I am also at 6/11 on defense. I don't think since this new PVP has been instituted that I have ever been over 25% let alone 50%. I wish there was stats from the previous season, I bet it would make my point even more so.

So I checked this morning & got attacked, which I lost. Interesting thing is that team was Gold I just like me, but my battle choices are Legendary IVs that are at levels 120-130.
Oh, & I can't see their team like before. When I click on the team it tells me the rune levels but nothing else.

The "new" pvp is totally ridiculous and unfair. While my attacking team always faces rivals who are in the top league (I am currently in gold I with about 3800 points) with monsters level 130, off coruse, my defending team has to face also rivals of legendary IV. But what is this!!!???
And to top it off I win a defense and they give me 6 points while if I lose, I lose 39 points. But what kind of algorithm is being applied with my profile ??

PvP is a joke. The match-making is ludicrous. GoldI facing LegendaryIV 130's , etc. I only do revenge battles now to ensure I don't fall out of my league. No revenge battles = no play. Lose less trophies by NOT PLAYING...what a ridiculous concept...not playing actually benefits you more than playing...This isn't Sparta..this is MADNESS

Wish they would at least fix the matching in PVP. I am being matched against Legendary IV and I am ranked Gold I Trophies are at 3.872. One of those is my team mate. I am ranked 10774 Gold I He is ranked Legendary IV 3856. Now would someone at SP please tell me why I am being pitted against monsters that are more then double my Trophies?

@tosha My impression right now is the best thing you can do for your rating is not log into PVP. I got my score up to 4.081K after a few revenge fights and then got attacked so my score is currently sitting at 4.045. I'll wait till I'm attacked again before logging in and taking the two revenge fights and seeing if my attacking choices are more reasonable. Hopefully I'll squeak out a finish in legendary 1. With the current setup I'd think moving up in the rankings is pretty near impossible.

@Jason-Sparling - I've dropped from 4100 to 3600 and saw nothing but total blowouts on the way down. Matchups are much fairer now, but with specials, probably no better than 60/40.
Doubt I will ever see Legendary 1 again.

I disagree whole heartedly about the runes. When you only have 100s it get's next to impossible to judge fights. Missing the refresh button was only chance to find other 100s. If they wanted me to keep playing multiplayer then they should bring it back or only match me with similar players. No point in playing it now. I am down a whole league n 400+ points since change.

@Jason-Sparling How do you check without logging In? I wasn't getting attacked until yesterday. I didn't try to attack after the 1st attempt when season started.
I am so mad right now. The same guy attacked me 8 hours apart! And then with my 2nd revenge he got 2 monsters with their special skills twice! Finally my guy got his but not until I was down to 1 player after being confused & frozen several times. Then I tried to battle a team with two 100s & a 105 but lost because of their special skills and level 8 speed runes.
So now I see if It's a low level team It's a trap because their speed runes are impossible for me to have a turn!
