So I know we have the island, to get dun ra. But I can't really see how I'll get enough cells, in order to craft him. As I've only just got to the 2nd part for 30 cells

So I am a bit confused as to what the tokens are ment to before, as so far there's been no need or use for them

Tokens are required to get access in the progressive island, they are not to assist you in any way to obtain cells. Now about the island itself, you can't get enough cells if you don't use some gems. For 100 cells is around 62 gems if you time your collections correctly.

How dose that work out for 60 ish gems? So the tokens are pointless then really

@death-march Well if you didn't had the tokens you wouldn't have access to it

@Dorijan-Lendvaj made a very useful guide on how and when to spend your gems I hope it sheds some light:

Node 1 : On 20 cells, use 13 gems after 2 collections, not including the first one.
Node 2 : On 30 cells, use 26 gems after 4 collections, not including the first one.
Node 3 : On 50 cells, use 23 gems after 6 collections, not including the first one.
Total gem cost: 62 gems.
Total collections(not including the first one on each node): 12.

@esentis So basically after doing the gold collections it reduces the cost of gems, dose that also include feeding monsters. Or just gold/food

Completed chapter 4 of book. It gives tokens first and maybe 1 h passed, I restarted the game and received the cells:
