This trait with Shademoon is gonna abuse everyone. It’s like giving Shademoon a potential 200K health shield. Looks like trait disable will be back with a vengeance.

Taunt trait
Post count: 43Reputation: 69Joined:@testcyp : obviously you have been alerted to some consequences of the Taunt Trait. In particular in relation to Shademoon. Please share your thought/observations (why Shademoon in particular - is it Taunt Trait from Dunn Ra?)
Just a question for all who read this:
When enemy team is under Dunn Ra's Taunt trait (receiving all damages and effects from both single and area skills) - how would Warthaks skill that erases positive effects first and then do damages work: only erases the positive effects of Dunn Ra and then damages Dunn Ra or will it erase the area Trait from all enemy monsters and hence damage them? -

Positive effects will be removed only from him, then the damage will proceed to the whole team. If your team has Shademoon, Elvira, Dun Raa this is how it will work:
AoE PER will remove only Dun Raa's positive effects (AKA Mega Taunt), your other two will still have their effects unchanged. The damage then will proceed to the whole team, only Dun Raa will be damaged since Elvira and Shademoon (he also has his Dodge Area status caster) will have evasion. Long story short you will need 2 PER skills to completely negate Dun Raa, unless you have Shademoon who will need a single target PER as well.Subscribe to show love

Post count: 759Reputation: 414Joined:@esentis @Jorgen-Schultz but that’s status caster which can be removed from Dunn Ra. The new race monster has Taunt as his Trait. So he has to be killed or trait disabled.
no area effects will land on Shademoon and all single attacks will go to Brutallus not Shademoon so he’s free to kill your team.
Against Dunn Ra you can get rid of his SC then use someone like Makugan to attack through evasion. Or stam drain with relics. -

Post count: 856Reputation: 406Joined:@testcyp Good thing is Shademoon Dodge Area lasts only 2 Turns. I don't think that combo is busted imho, you can always counter it with Trait Disable which you already mentioned. However, Dun Raa will almost make Saulot's and Wangzhou's trait useless, since he can soak everything.

Maybe Nemestrinus can help with his single remove good effects skill 'Alpha Declaration' or are there any other single attack skills that remove good effects???
I have to say that all these new traits, effects and skills and their interactions are starting to do my head in

Hi, I'll try to clarify doubts:
Warthak VS Dunn Ra + 2 Other enemies (all with positive status effects)Warthak uses "Marikana Wraith": Area (Remove positive + Damage + Dmg. Reduction)
*Dunn Ra Loses her Positive Status Effects
*Dunn Ra is damaged 3 times (one for each enemy)
*Dunn Ra gets Damage Reduction
*Both Dunn Ra allies KEEP their status. They got NO damage. They DON'T receive Negative Status Effects.About this:

We think he refers to a "Single Taunt" + "Dodge Area".
To hit a "Dodge Area" monster, players should use a Single target Skill. But a Taunt monster will attract all the single damage skills, heavily protecting the Dodge Area.I hope that doubts are clarified. If not, please let us know and we will try to help!
