Well I am trying to figure out why these changes that are being made are even necessary. One of the changes we have asked for have been for being able to see who is making the attacks during the ATTACK PHASE. This was not addressed at all.
You are reducing the number of ATTACKS/DEFENSE BASES to 5 each. That makes no sense at all. I don't remember that ever being asked for or complained about. The only request was to allow monsters to be used in both phases.
So the "Locking the Team Battlegrounds restrictions for a longer period of time" for the full 2 months of the Team Wars League has been requested? Another one that makes no sense.
Why would you think anyone would want TBG every 2 weeks? Many Teams don't want it at all.... To make it more often is unwanted at best.
Reducing the individual rewards gives no one any incentive to even place any teams at all.
This just seems like a bigger version of Team Wars with no insight into the Opponent.... Blindly placing Defense Teams against an Opponent that we can't see their Defenses is a waste of time. We already do that but we can at least place all the Defense Teams we want to!

Post count: 394Reputation: 237Joined:I personally like these changes. 5 attacks 5 defences means you get to field the best teams you can without out having to worry about swapping runes from gold to something useful for 100+ monsters that meet the requirements and then have to swap them all back again once it ends.
As for the 2 weeks i think the logic behind that is it is less 'effort' with these changes so a higher frequency should compensate that. I am also unsure about the 2 weeks but i see why and i am willing to try it.
These changes make it more tactical and will make players think about who they use a valuable attack on, much better than the current who has the most monsters wins.
The rewards weren't great for the current format considering the amount of effort required(post talany/diamond relic chest) but if it ends up being a fun event and the rewards are reasonable then i dont see a problem with these changes.
As for seeing who is doing what, cant you just ask players to call out their attacks? And if someone deviates from the attack plan take a SS of the individual contributions and see whos points go up.
2 month restriction lock may be a bit long but on the brightside it means i can leave my runes on a monster and not have to pay 75 gems per monster every 2 weeks.
You can always look at the enemy team and see what kind of monsters they have that will give you an idea of what you will be facing.
That is how we won the last battlegrounds, our opponents had a lot of sherezar/xiron/ragnarok so we avoided the battleground that had spirits/magic (allowing combination of sherezar/xiron, sherezar/ragnarok, ragnarok/xiron etc on our way to the end base.☀️

Post count: 199Reputation: 146Joined:the limitation of attacks and defences is a extremely bad thing. some of our BG we won against much stronger teams, because of the situation that they are only strong in a view monsters. Monsters for all kind of wars.
But we had much more monsters also in mid level range and at the end, we were able to set in ever territory all defences with 3 monsters. the opponent had only the chance to do the same, but have less teams for attack or set less defences to have enough for attack.
now you can say this in unfair. but I have to say, we have different players. some are fighters and some are collectors. there are a lot of events for fighters and this was an event with a small benefit for collectors.
Now we have again a fighters event.One more thing... in the last events we had also teammates which are not able to be part of the attack period. so we said to them set in defence all or also your best monsters. at the end the active attackers set less defences and had more for the attack period. Now we have no chance to do this.
I also loved the 48 preparation period. it takes away pressure from a team. Enough time for teams with a big range of player to decide the defence strategy that after the defence period every teammate is qualified.
A good decision is the removing of the individual reward. because this reduces problems in the team itself. there is now no competition in the team and so everybody can focus on the event and not to bebest in the team. Often the view on the individual reward and rank some decisions of teammates were at the end against the team.
As long as i can‘t see what teammates are doing in the attack period and as long i can‘t change doings of teammates in the defence period, I can‘t look for good teamdecisions .....we will see what’s happen with the changes at the end for this event.

Post count: 72Reputation: 95Joined:Tbg occurs during the weekends, for that very reason, it's already an imposition...many times, leads have had to allow players who are ill, busy, have the ability to just place their defences & do no attacks...had to do that myself during the last tbg. 2 days preparation is relevant, for an event that's so full on, for nothing much in rewards, & attempting to communicate in the various methods it takes to impart information to 25-30 players... it's excruciatingly time consuming, laborious, & eats away at players' weekends (especially, leads)...but who cares

ability of lead to take down crap defences or excessive numbers of defences placed by a single player on easy front territories

Better stats about points accumulated by players, ie. divided into defence points, offence points, attack losses & defence wins.
That's all in needed. Forcing players into limited number of defence teams and offence teams is turning TBG into something very similar to team wars, but being a lot more laborious. And as ss13 says, having it over the weekend is a massive imposition to adult players and now it's even every second week with worse rewards???
