Well new edition of team battlegrounds and it still sucks. So you barely lose to a defense, then go against it again and all the defense monsters are back to full health again? The 5 attacks/defenses and point system is confusing. This is still a time consuming mess especially with 4 other events going on at same time (Pierced, O'reilly, team war, pvp, progressive island, mazes)
Still not going to spend a dime on equipping monsters i don't use with level 8-10 runes with the cost of rune removal.
This event was originally designed as a cash burner to get players to spend A LOT of gems, all these redesigns and it's still a low reward, expensive, confusing, mess. How many times are you going to change it before you realize no one likes this event. Remove this rubbish event from the game please.

Post count: 165Reputation: 104Joined:sorry and surprised to say it but i liked it better before, at least there were goodish rewards for all that effort , now it's just not worth it, having to gather up the team and work on how to spend the best way the few attacks we have each it's just too much stress ..we went from diamond relic and exclusive monster cells ," balanced" to good number of orbs and war medals "re-balanced" to just a few now, next "balance" will have no rewards at all

I've never spent a dime on it and I still have fun.
However I don't understand why anyone would actually spend gems to shuffle level 10 runes around for this? Why? The rewards aren't worth spending on and the rewards are much worse now that they got rid of the individual rewards.
This used to be a great way to get some orbs, but now I've lost most of those with this battleground despite my great individual score within our team.

Fights were more competitive due to people being able to use there most capable monsters on D & O. We as a team had much greater participation overall. I hope we don't go back to the old version of a million monsters to field.

For those that got very limited runes, end up using gold runes to attacks instead. To make it more fun for BG, SP should have implemented using gold runes only to attacks.

In the end, you may end up using monsters with gold runes or with lower tier runes, hence since you’ve used all of your higher tier runes on defense. Moreover, the players got limited runes will hit the brick wall.

Post count: 96Reputation: 58Joined:I found the original battleground setup a huge grind to populate multiple defenders. I lost interest in placing defence teams after about 2 and I'm not even a millennial! Limiting it to 5 defence teams made it tolerable.
I did like old BG ability to attack until I ran out of monsters. In some cases I could send in 1 to mop up after someone else. Now, whether I send 1 or 3, it counts the same. Opening the fighting to my entire roster gives me some incentive to invest in the lower ranks.
For me, the best of both worlds would be keep the attack side the same as old BG. Keep defence side the same as current BG. To balance the defence to attack, give the defence teams 'lives' kind of like team wars. Each defence team can be attacked (or defeated?) 3, 5? times before they are eliminated. Each battle results in points for the attacker or defenders.
For me, putting down 10-15 defence teams is a mind numbing chore.
