Since May is Mermay month, I drew the Legendary Dragons, the Mermaid Dragon. :3
It's also my first time drawing a Dragon City fan art as well. I had to mess around the water effects to get the theme right.

I like it a lot. Do you take constructive criticism?
I have autism and struggle with tone. Sorry if I sound impolite, I don’t mean to!
I want to be a professional artist and need a lot of practice. If you want a quick sketch or to critique my art, please hit me up, but be reasonable and polite.

@bathtubdoritos Glad you like it. :3
I do so feel free.

@faerie-starv I think the linework could’ve been more consistent, as it is in places that don’t particularly need it but absent near the fins. The highlights are in places that they probably shouldn’t be on the tail and arms. I do like how you did the color gradient on the tail fins and the shine on the jewelry and would like to know how you did that, if possible.

@bathtubdoritos Got it.
As for highlights, I'll have to admit it's not my strongest trait because I'm having difficulty of imagining where the it shines and where it doesn't.
Thanks. :3
As for the shine on jewelry, if your talking about the pearls I added, it was from this user, pimpypants from Deviantart. It's a pearls brush for Photoshop where you can download it. I've used those pearl brushes a lot before and it was much easier to use than doing one by one.
Here's a link to a pearl brush that I downloaded from Deviantart.
Edit: Sorry... I had to remove the link as per forum rules. Send it via pm.
