I was earning fog coins for feeding my dragon, but 2 hours later and Im not earning any from collecting gold or feeding dragons or doing anything that it says will give me fog coins. Am I missing something?

Yes, as with all events there is a maximum you can earn in a 8 hour period, for this event it is 600.

It should state that somewhere. The fog covers up some of the directions.

First of all is that linking the game to facebook is the only way to save it proper if something happens to your device. Do you mean dragon cinema with offer island? That will appear after 21 days playing.
