Hello everyone and welcome to my 231st analysis, this time featuring Faraday the Electrolyzer.
Overview: Combining Tough with Anticipation along with a fantastic Base Strength, Faraday is among the most notable attackers in the game. He has access to Sunburn and moves with high Base Power and given the abundance of extra turns in the game, this guy is going to be dishing out a lot of damage most of the time. This form has access to Blind, which can be used to make debuffs very difficult for the opponent to land. Faraday's problems are your typical attacker's problems, but he does wish he had a better Speed stat.

Builds:
Monsters that have access to Group 4 skills will have a slightly different build path. I will list the most viable builds for each Rank since some moves in Group 4 are pivotal to some sets' success. The monster's role will likely remain the same, however, so this won't be exhaustingly long as I won't repeat the same things.

Rank0:
Moves:
-Nine Tails Zap
-Lightning Strap
-Disconforting Bask
-Stamina Expel
Runes: 2 Strength 1 Speed
Mutant Rune options: Strength&Life, Speed&Life
Relics: Traps and Swords

Build Explanation:
Nine Tails Zap is a Base 40 AOE Blind with a notable 100 Accuracy. Lightning Strap is a single target version of this move with greater Base Power. Disconforting Bask is another AOE that instead applies Sunburn, which goes together nicely with Nine Tails Zap for increased Precision drops. Lastly, Stamina Expel is his strongest remaining attack.
2 Strength 1 Speed with Life Mutations is the standard Rune spread for an attacker.

Rank1: Electrolyzer learns "Stamina Void" at this level, a Base 65 unresisted move that removes 30% Stamina from its target.
Moves:
-Nine Tails Zap
-Lightning Strap
-Disconforting Bask
-Stamina Void
Runes and Mutant Runes are the same as given above.

Build Explanation:
Stamina Void is a strictly stronger Stamina Expel, which is why it replaces that move, plus it's his strongest attack at this point.

Rank2: Electrolyzer learns "Shining Fever" at this level, a Base 55 Thunder move that applies Burn and Sunburn to the target.
Moves:
-Nine Tails Zap
-Stamina Void
-Shining Fever
-Disconforting Bask
Runes and Mutant Runes are the same as given above.

Build Explanation:
Shining Fever can stack up damage really fast, plus the minor Precision drop it offers can be helpful in times. For this reason, it replaces Lightning Strap.

Rank3: Electrolyzer learns "Electric Belt" at this level, a Base 70 Thunder move that applies Total Blind to the target.
Moves:
-Nine Tails Zap
-Stamina Void/Shining Fever
-Electric Belt
-Disconforting Bask/Shining Fever
Runes and Mutant Runes are the same as given above.

Build Explanation:
Electric Belt is this Faraday's "deny" move to interrupt extra turn spamming, and it's also his nuke, which makes it an invaluable attack. For the rest of the moves, Shining Fever can replace Stamina Void or Disconforting Bask if you want to use it.

Countering Faraday the Electrolyzer: If you are trying to use extra turns against him, applying a control effect on him beforehand is useful, since this will render his turn null. For more Counter options, check out this article.
