Hello everyone and welcome to my 234th analysis, this time featuring Dunn Ra.
Overview: Dunn Ra is one of the most revolutionary and important members of the metagame, thanks to her Trait which includes a SC of Mega Taunt. It also includes Tough, which is helpful against single target attacks. Aside from this, Dunn Ra also has access to useful Tortures, plus she has a 0 Stamina move that restores her Mega Taunt, along with giving her Control Immunity. These traits allow Dunn Ra to protect her allies from all sorts of attacks marvelously.

Builds:
Monsters that have access to Group 4 skills will have a slightly different build path. I will list the most viable builds for each Rank since some moves in Group 4 are pivotal to some sets' success. The monster's role will likely remain the same, however, so this won't be exhaustingly long as I won't repeat the same things.

Build Explanation:
Gates Of Giza allows Dunn Ra to refresh her Mega Taunt with no Stamina cost and make her immune to Control, making it a crucial attack with the abundance of buff removal. Dry Heat annoys enemies with its Daze making status effects harder to land. Valley Of Kings applies Nightmares to enemies, which somewhat drains them of Stamina. Lastly, Intimidating Roar applies Guard Down to all enemies while removing their Shields, and the former can be important in some cases such as against Blind and Sunburn teams.
3 Life maximizes the tankiness of Dunn Ra, so that she has an easier time tanking moves, particularly AOEs since she takes on all three damage instances of those moves.

Rank 1: Dunn Ra learns "Curse Of The Pharaoh" at this level, a Base 40 Dark AOE that applies Curse and Nightmares to all enemies.

Build Explanation:
A much needed addition to Dunn Ra's arsenal of Tortures, Curse Of The Pharaoh is an upgrade to Valley Of Kings, having Curse on top of Nightmares for increased Life and Stamina Drain which gets heavier with each passing turn, perfectly suiting Dunn Ra's role.

Rank 2: Dunn Ra learns "Deadly Riddle" at this level, a Base 55 unresisted single target attack that applies Major Damage Reduction to its target.

Rank 3: Dunn Ra learns "First Plague" at this level, a Base 45 unresisted AOE that applies Bleeding to all enemies.

Build Explanation:
First Plague's Bleeding adds more Tortures to Dunn Ra's arsenal, providing increased pressure. Also, the Damage Reduction Bleeding gives enemies allows Dunn Ra to tank attacks better.

Rank 4: Dunn Ra learns "Ninth Plague" at this level, a Base 60 unresisted single target attack that applies Blind to all enemies.

Build Explanation:
Ninth Plague's Blind works excellently with Dry Heat's Daze to make enemies extremely likely to miss their attacks, which necessitates its use. However, you can use First Plague over Dry Heat as well if you want increased damage over this, since Blind on its own is still very disruptive.

Teammate Options: SCs in general work nicely with Dunn Ra since she prevents AOE buff removals from removing them from all team members. A common use for this is pairing Dunn Ra with Warmaster Elvira to allow Elvira and the other monster to keep their Evasion unless another monster on the enemy uses an AOE buff removal. She can also allow extra turn attacks to be used without fear of being interrupted by Anticipation, unless the Anticipation monster has buff removal or Pierce. Countering Dunn Ra: Buff removal is essential against Dunn Ra, since without bypassing Mega Taunt you can't do anything to her team. Nanovirus and Positive Effect Block help in preventing her from regaining Mega Taunt with Gates Of Giza. You can also boost the damage of an attacker, then use a powerful AOE with it - hopefully, Dunn Ra will die from the sheer damage output. For more Counter options, check out this article.
