would someone be able to dumb down for me the easiest way for me to understand how to determine which would be the best skill(s) to train on a dragon, please?
the grids are useful yet my brain does not really comprehend the logic or lack thereof ...
and the training “helps” in the Training Center confuse me even more with many having the same percentage of increase for different skills ... 🥴
(would like to begin training Heroics now that I actually have a few of them yet want to effectively train them not just increase a skill without increasing the best one(s) for that particular dragon )
as always ... ty ty ty for any and all insight ...

Post count: 6614Reputation: 3547Joined:Location: Germany@dragonlove Avoid to exchange attacks for different elements. Once one element is removed you can not get it back. For example if you train a flame attack and exchange it with metal...the metal attack is gone. I always train and exchange the same element. Normally trained attacks are always better than the onse that are already there. Exceptions are some special attacks or skills. For example for Ultimate I would only train the chaos attack. The rest is rubbish.

ty ty @Bettina-Löffler ... you mention “exceptions” ... how does one know what these exceptions are; how do we tell which are rubbish and thus not waste time on them ?

Not all special moves of ultimate is rubbish, I think its pure special move is useful

I dont know. Players try, find out and post somewhere hopefully. Thats why I know about Ultimate. Someone wrote this: 1 might heal your health 2 will change to a random move an the 3rd has a 50% chance to miss an so u won't have a pure attack nor a legend an can only use the primal once ever 3 turn

*Archaic Roar
Legend Spell
Pure Energy Plus
Archaic PainThey only special attack I kept was Archaic Roar. I think healing is good in 6 vs 6 when it heals the whole team. But I often find you waste a turn healing and they attack you again and you are right back where u started. The special attack Call for Backup is pointless it gives you random weak attacks.
Archaic Roar is a strong attack and has a chance to hit all of the team.CEO OF DETROIT DRAGONS

Post count: 1Reputation: 2Joined:Maybe I can add a bit of a different perspective on how to train attacks in Dragon City.
Each attack has a set amount of damage it can do (before dragon modifications like level / rank etc)
When you enter the training section, you dont directly see what the damage output is of the moves you're going to learn, just an "Increase by X percent"
Sceanrio 1 - if you're training a dragon with bad initial moves that are around 500 damage, with new move that is 1000 damage - its going to tell you 100% damage increase
Sceanrio 2 - you train a dragon with an initial move of 1000 damage, and the new move is 1500 damage, then it will only show you an increase of 50%.
This can be misleading because you basically always want scenario 2, as the base damage the move is doing more than scanrio 1
What you really want is to check the base damage of the move you will be training, by either memorising every moves base damage (really hard for every move) or use a 3rd party site.

Post count: 1206Reputation: 803Joined:soooo ... have been thinking on this topic once again ...
if training, H Malicious:
train the Legend with Flame (Flaming Arrows) for +253%, put the +85% Legend (Rainbow) onto the Flame skill ...
then just increase the War Fist with the Giant Claw (both war) for the +99% increase ...
and the Black Hole with Ghost Cloud (both dark) for the +85% increase?basically swap the highest increase and it’s opposite, then increase like element for like element for the rest if wanting/able to increase all four skills ... logical thinking ?

Doesn’t everyone train their dragons like that?
There should be more breedable and less legendary dragons! https://forums.socialpointgames.com/topic/17103
