Is anyone aware of a way to move eggs directly to storage, rather than having to hatch them first, at which point they need to be put into the Dragonarium, which in turn may need gems spending to open up an additional 'free' spot?

Moving eggs straight to storage

Yes when you buy an egg and your hatchery is full it will go to storage. @Philocalist they will NEVER add a feature like that, you said it yourself, they will not remove the necessity of purchasing Dragonarium slots so that you can get free storage. That is Business Practices 101...

Save your gems and wait for a sale. While you wait, only hatch what you need. Or you can get rid of easily breedable dragons to make room. Or if you have duplicates, recall them.
