To get any reward you have to finish lap 4 to qualify.
If you win and reach lap 15 you will still only get one heroic dragon when the race ends.

Prepare to die on lap 4 node4 because we have 9 fights and in lap 14 node 4, we have 15 fights. Only free spins could save us. By the way, has anyone had all the dragons required for special quest for high mauruder dragon orbs

Silly question, most long term players will have them all, myself included.

Does anyone know which dragons the “crew members” are? I know the first one is a reward for lap 3, but I can’t tell by their tiny heads what the other dragons are.

In order they are Spectre, Ghost, Tsunami, Jellyfish and Malice Striker.

Changed my mind, just doing my usual 19 laps, these fights every lap are to annoying. Right now I am 7.5, trying to see if I make it for the extra rewards.

I accidentally grew 9hr food, so need to wait for 3 hrs more. Hope I'll get 100 orbs from quests atleast. If I had a chance of getting 120 orbs or more, then I'll claim the heroic dragon from race as well for an empowered heroic.

@amogh-sai ... if you have Ramsey Tower built you could speed up the food, prevents waiting the 3hrs ..

@dragonlove I would have done that if I had it ready. 40M food and need to feed 6 more dragons to level 35 to upgrade dragon boost to max. Also need to make my nature dragons ready for the next rescue.

By the way, what dragons do you want to comeback? I want Mace, any rare or very rare that I don't have , Bull, Super star/ evanescent fae/ antimatter and why not high winter dragon? I need these dragons badly.

@amogh-sai this is a boring race! It seems so uninspiring with a pretty basic sort of a heroic dragon. I’m sure I’ll get it by getting to lap 15 but I’m already feeling annoyed about getting the ship mates. I only have three of them and at least one of them SP is going to make a bear to get.

Not lucky I usually get +1. I doubt they will give out those many orbs I bet between the 5 quests the max they will give is less than 80 which is what you woukd need to summon one. Otherwise people spill skip the race.

@amogh-sai ... would love to get a Legacy on my islands; been trying the Pure/Pure breed with no luck so far; was short gems when it showed up in the Shop on sale; without it am stuck with no progress on the Asgard Cup.

@dragonlove keep trying and eventually you'll get the legacy dragon Don't waste gems on the dragons which are breedable. Other legendary rarity dragons though old yet not breedable are sold at 100 or less gems as well. I remember 2 years back that I bought my 1st legend dragon, ignition dragon whose elements are legend and fire for 75 gems. There is even jason dragon for 100 gems at that time.

Who will get the heroic dragon? The first one reach lap 15 or first place player at the end of race or all player reach lap 15?

Lap 7 node 5 now.

This information is available in the game itself, as well as in these forums.
The first post on this thread describes everything you need to know about the heroic race. It includes a link to tips, and there you will find the answer to your question: All players who reach lap 15 get the heroic dragon once the race is finished. And if nobody in your race reaches lap 15, the player who finishes first AND has reached lap 5 gets the heroic dragon.
It helps keep the forums neater if questions that have already been answered aren't asked again.

they really need to give 2 of these if you win and reach lap 15......these races are a pain in the booty (pun intended)

Good thing is that not every lap has fights. Lap 10 node 4 now. Got 35 High spirits orbs right now. I'll reach lap 15 first. If I think I can make it to lap 17, then I'll go for lap 17.

Finally the free spin worked in my favor, on lap 14.4 with 15 fights, got a complete node with my spin so that saved me A LOT of time since I only did 2 of the 15 fights. My goal was to reach lap 15 by 12 am, now I should get there by 4 pm at the latest. Now my frenzy can end and I can relax to reach the last 5 laps of my goal.

The real trick with the players is that on the 14th lap there are 15 duels to be offered. I do not know which sick mind invented this, but I have sent many "blessings" to him. I'm literally mad!

I saved my free sp8n for it and got lucky, it was a node complete. Fyi it has been a node like the last few races, so i prepared for it. I get you are upset but with the info that @bettina-löffler and DCP provides, there are many ways to avoid pitfalls. But I agree it is very annoying to be slowed down with those time consuming, annoying fights.

@nynaevelan yeah, i delayed my free spin for 6 hours to use it that one. it gave me 5. hard to get mad about that. the spins just seem silly now when it gives you a few but the requirements (for anything) is ginormous.

thankfully, started this 15 fight node in the morning so am slogging through it ... free spin is currently in the evening so might be able to finish this today yet ... wheeeeeeee

I dont understand why you are mad. I will be ready with lap 14 tomorrow and get the heroic dragon. Then I have 6 days left to make extra rounds and get extra goodies. The 15 fights are a bit like a little break from race until they are done.

i'm enjoying watching my race pool. 2nd and 3rd place is very competitive in my race,lol.

When I was in lap 12 node 5 , I had 30 mins left for extra rewards. Purchased a spin and boom! Got 800k food. Right now lap 13 node 5. I think I can reach till lap 17.
