My dragons keep producing platinum but up till now I haven't found a way to spend it.

Change the shop payment options so things can be bought with platinum too?

If all your AW dragons are on max level you can stop collecting platinum.

what is oval and perfect ruby for? since we only need carved ruby for evolving.

Yes, 5 is max. And you only need rubies for evolving.

i can almost envision new content on that realm and possibly new dragons with those other world elements to be configured on which element will crit which. i'm still fairly new,but isn't that what was done when the big 3 elements came out? at some point, they have to do it cause you can't have those elements and wind be the dominating elements in arena and leagues.

You are right as long as there is no use for the platinum. I hope that sometime the shop payment options will be extended with platinum as an addition to the jewels.
