Hello everyone and welcome to my 35th analysis, this time featuring Zyla the Faithful.
Overview: Once a monster that dominated the battlefield, Zyla has a harder time doing that right now due to Anticipation and SCs that give enemies defensive effects like Mega Taunt or Mirrors. However, all of her properties that allowed this domination are still there, like an excellent Base Speed for an attacker, Bulwark and her infamous extra turn attacks, including a 0 CD one that totally counters CD Activation. The Base Speed makes her especially deadly against other attackers, since she is very much capable of making short work of any monster she focuses on (except maybe tanks with 3 Life Runes), thanks to her extra turn chaining and Relics if you have any, since she is capable of holding Banners which includes the Charging Banner, one of the most powerful Relics an extra turn spammer can hold. However, as said before, Anticipation and Shock completely shut Zyla down, and while Shock is uncommon, Anticipation, especially Anticipation attackers that can kill her very easily, are not.
Runes: 1 Strength 1 Speed 1 Stamina
Mutant Rune options: Strength&Life, Strength&Stamina, Speed&Life, Speed&Stamina, Stamina&Strength, Stamina&Life, Stamina&Speed
Relics: Swords and Banners
Fast Chains does little damage, but it's essential to keep the extra turn spam chain going and to make sure CD Activation does not halt Zyla. Agony Chains is a straight up damage + extra turn move with 1 CD, and Affliction Chains has the same Base Power, but it instead has 2 CD and an added Daze effect. Lastly, Clamant Havoc is the most useful remaining move.
1 Strength 1 Speed 1 Stamina is the standard for extra turn spammers. Life Mutations can be used to patch up her low Life, or you can use Stamina Mutations to boost her damage up farther. The Stamina Rune can be Mutated to Speed for an extra increase in Speed to outspeed an enemy, or Strength for even more damage.

Countering Zyla the Faithful: Stamina Drain is the safest way to deny Zyla, since it bypasses Bulwark. You can one shot her with a powerful attack from a high firepower monster too - since she's faster than most attackers, you can use turn transferring to manage this.
