How do you earn keys keys for the Dragon Rescue? I’m not seeing any signs of keys anywhere in game. Perhaps I am missing something?

I am guessing here but when you click on the keys in the rescue it points to the dragons and their swords. So I am guessing when you claim the dragon you get their sword??

EDIT: Also the flame sword could be obtained in the freebies island and the nature sword in the temp quest, both available now.

EDIT2: The banner shows this to get the keys, so I guess this answers the question of how to get the keys.

I know they think they are making these events more "fun"but in all honestly they are making them to be TOO MUCH work. Now instead of straight keys you have to get dragons and swords just to get a key? Good thing I did not plan to go for the rescue.

@nynaevelan also looking at this you can't get the first red key till the 17th, so why start event on 14th. As for the maze, they have 3 older dragons I don't have, plus new ones of course!!!!!

Why the 17th, the red sword is on the freebies island today? Yes I know the pic says the 17th but it also shows it being in the shop on the 17th, so I assumed that would be after the freebies island promo ended and we...as in I, did not get a sword during it.

My goal as always is to get what i can of the new ones. I haven't plotted out yet what that will be, I am not keen on spending to take the path to get the puzzle moves until I see how possible any new ones on there that I can get.

I’m halfway down the Flame Knight Path. I was actually impressed with the rare ish load of old dragons here, like Sword Wielder, Ancient Magic and Crested Fae. The Knights won me over as I will see how close I can get to Darksteel. I may be able to pick up Ice and Dark knights from the puzzle.

At least the Rescue is offering orbs for the Knights, plus we have 12 days. This is ok, if it was 5 days I would think differently.

I thought the length for event was too sort and not enough coins to get the dragons and keys. Looks like almost 2 weeks. No ball, lol. Now I'm just wondering if flame sword will only drop on freebies if you have the dragon....and what if it's all random and we dont get it, so no key.

The dragon is not required, I did them for my baby account looking to get food...got 2 flame swords. My account, nothing.

@nynaevelan yeah, just got one sword on main acct. I'm assuming we only need one since only one red key is needed. Sadly, I don't think today's collections are enough to get the dragon.

The way I read this we can get Fire Knight, Nature Knight, Electric Knight. We need to win three quests to get three of the swords and watch vids to get three of the swords.

That means we need to pay to get Holy, and we need to do something else, unsure what to get Dark and Ice.

So ultimately we won't be able to complete the Dragon Rescue unless we're willing to pay for enough coins to grab the Holy dragon, and even if willing to do that, make sure the Ice and Dark are somewhere available, and even if we're able to get those, get lucky enough to get the three swords from the videos, and even if we're that lucky we have to be able to complete three quests which, based on past experience, we won't have time to complete without spending a lot of gems on the last few steps of each.

So I think I'm skipping this dragon rescue as well. It's a shame because it's one of the more enjoyable parts of actual gameplay.

Yeah...i hate rescues ...

It looks like there won't actually be enough time to finish the nature sword quest without spending gems on it. That's really uncool.

I am wondering if the black hero coins are for Black Friday 29th November when you can use them to buy cheap hero dragons??

I do not know which of the Social Points team was in charge of the current Rescue, but a complete failure of the otherwise not bad idea has occurred. Shame!

Still no flame sword from freebies, if I do not get one by the last set of the day I am chucking the whole thing into the garbage. I cannot say what I am really feeling just know I am not thinking happy thoughts right now. They call this an improvement? Not even close, in fact not even in the ballpark!!!!

How do you figure, one has nothing to do with the other? Do you mean get all the dragons that accompanied the swords? If so, I think you are right. But keep in mind this is only 4 if the 6. We still need to get the other 2 from the puzzle island starting tomorrow.

Both will be in the puzzle event and I am not sure about your assumption of the cost. Previous mythical dragons in puzzle islands have been available for free, not the extra orbs but with the right strategy you could get the dragons. That is in the past though, who knows how this one will be since those two are a part of a larger event.

I wanted to get the Darksteel orbs because a few of my alliance members were asking for those, but I am giving up on this rescue and the orbs in it. I also wanted those swords as decos to go with my GoT sword but again giving up on those as well.

There is a way to get all 4 knights without spending a dime. Find someone in your alliance. One person saves only for holy knight, while the other saves just for flame, nature, and the third one. The person who did the first 3 knights trades the orbs. Then trades him back the holy knight when he gets them....tricky part is the legend trade essence, which you can probably grind out at puzzle event tomorrow.
.....just a thought.

OR..
.find a kind soul to trade you the electric knight and save your coins for holy knight after grabbing the flame and nature.

I have the flame sword now, after the last videos, one person in my alliance claims to have 2 swords. So I have the first red key now.

I have Flame and his Sword now.

I got two flame swords and claimed the flame knight. Got the red key and Flame Knight is needed for the first fight.

The nature quest will be ended in 2 days from now.
And we are still far away from unlocking the nature knight itself.
Even if we manage to reach it, we still need to wait for it to hatch in order to do the final quest.

The wait time of the quests and the way to getting swords from freebies are also ridiculous

And the holy knight.....

I FINALLY got my flame sword, now let's see how many fights I can get through before I get stopped at the next door. Which of course will lead to another fight because I am only on stage 5 of the nature quest for the Nature Sword. I honestly do not know why they insist on these long waits for the rescues.

Edit: four fights and 12 Flame Knight orbs. Now the wait begins again....

@nynaevelan Congrats on finally getting your flame sword. I’m not sure if I will be able to get one. I have done 2 cycles of the videos on FB island. It has been hours and it says “no video available “

And please forgive me but I can’t quite figure out what my coin collection cycle. I’m in the Southeast US (Alabama) so I’m Central. Can someone please tell me what my 3 8 hour blocks are? I seem to miss one sometimes but I’m not sure how Sorry for such a beginner question but PLEASE help...

1. Videos are every 6 hours.
2. Central so you should be 7 am, 3 pm and 11 pm. I think I have that right, you all are an hour behind Eastern right??

Wouldn't Central be 5am, 1pm, & 9pm? I am in Eastern zone & my collection times are 6, 2, & 10.
