I've had a breeding dry spell for the last few weeks and wasn't able to breed any of the recent Mythical nor Legend. Has the odds been changed to make it harder or maybe just my bad luck?

It would be good if SP posts the difficulty level or give a more exact odds of breeding something. For example, I've wasted gems to give each of the last 3 Mythical about 12-13 tries before giving up and nothing. Tried again with Ice Hockey and no luck.

Suggestion. Give a pity reward like the Heroic breeding where you are guaranteed to get one after 100 breeding.

@drdragon The odds are very low. I would not waste gems on these.

I tried them all and ask questions from the alliance I am member with - they all got zero.
the Heroic breeding based on what I read in Facebook is seem to be configured that if a player has less Heroics or low level, they get one Heroic result.
It is a waste of gems or time so far - BUT - I still try maybe because I still hope.

But I am beginning to think that Social Point's developers are really that good (best in industry maybe?). They code it that less players get the dragon.

I agree with you, it seems the lower leveled players do have a better shot than vets but even those it is still lowwwwwwwww chances to be successful. These temp breeds are just a waste of time and effort and I will not use gems on them.

If you buy them at shop at 340 multiply by 26 = 8,840 gems. The breeding island is still a good way to get a 5* dragon and you get the unwanted dragons - ex: Moon - which you can also empowered.

Now, I know that in total it might be more expensive than 8,840 (in terms on gems only - excluding food) but, from a master points and battle readiness perspective - this way is the best in my opinion.

Which is why I continue to HOPE and do the Breeding Island - but not anymore because I need to improve my personal life. (if I can keep my resolution -:)

You spend 4500 on one dragon? Yikes!! But it is highly unlikely the average player has that or is willing to spend that on one dragon, neither of your scenarios is something most players would spend, IMO.

Out of curiosity, how many non breedable 5 stars do you have?

@Nynaevelan 12 Legandary 5* dragons that are not breedable.

For me, everything was good last year when breeding a Legend requires at least a difficult to obtain dragon in a recent event. With 12-13 tries, I always get at least 1 Legend from the breeding island. My all time good luck was about 5-6 Legend in 12-13 tries. Using Gem for the breeding island was well worth it before; much better than the 340 gem per Legend offer.

Now, starting this year around January 2020, this very short 24 hour breeding window using easy/common dragons; I guess for beginners to have a chance at breeding, the odds seems to have gotten worse. I've only been able to breed 1 Legend since the beginning of this year. About to give up spending gems on breeding until the odds are much better. Maybe SP's trying this new short breeding window to cycle through more dragons in hopes of getting more people to spend more gems to get the missing dragons.

I have enough Arena-strong dragons to easily get to Master Arena III every time and will probably save my gems for the next big SP offer that I can't refuse...
