Very Rare - 20 keys
Epic - 35 keys
Legend - 60 keys

FYI: if you use the filter for the unowned option it also includes those that you have not hatched yet but these will be in color whereas the ones that you do not own in storage or hatched are in greyscale.

When will the other rarity be available?

What rescue? I am on Windows. I don't see a rescue.

@amanda-wallace Normally you should have it already. Give it one more day. You won`t loos time because the timer starts once you start it.

I actually like the idea, gives you a chance to get any Dragon you want, ok only common now but they seem to plan all dragons. My only complaint 10 keys for 120 gems seems high to me, 60 or 80 even. You need all 10 for 1 common Dragon, assume you will need more keys for legendary and others. Just don't make it too dear and spoil it.

Did my first one with free keys in under an hour all 25 stages.

Completed all battles only to end up needing 2 more keys to actually get my dragon. That was an unwelcome surprise.

So, maybe because some of us were chosen as Beta Testers, it is why some others can't see yet this event. Could be?

@luisk No. Check this: https://forums.socialpointgames.com/topic/14677/missing-dragon-rescue-faq. Give it one more day. The timer will start when you start to play it. So it is not a problem to start later.

@bettina-löffler Oh, now I see. All of us will be beta testers worldwide, it's just a question of time depending of the rollover of the new version of DC.

You do not get a dragon, you get orbs, check your Tree to see if your orbs are there. You need the 2 keys to start a second rescue.

This rescue idea is great and the fact that its permanent is more awesome. I'm doing mace since I dont have it. Also can you reduce the cost of keys, it's too expensive. Also, can't we collect keys by permanent key quests or weekly key quests. This reminds me a lot of dungeons from monster legends

I'm still missing 5 common dragons, but I'm not going to spend a coin buying yellow keys.

I would never choose a common dragon, I have all of them anyways. Since keys are permanent I’m just gonna save them.

Maybe we can use the DR to easily empower our common dragons or rank our dragons, too.

Remember, there’s a talk before that SP will give rewards if a player has the book/dragons all 5 stars?

The event appeared for both my husband and me. He completed all 25 battles at one time, rescued his dragon, and can now begin another if desired.

I had to stop at battle 21/25. When I loaded the game to finish, the event is now gone

No keys to purchase, no icon on the left to launch event.

At this point I will just wait and see

FYI; this event has always been my absolute favorite - it gives me a chance (reason) to look at all my lower level dragons that I love but do not use for battle, and also gives a good reason to increase the number of dragons used for battle

Once the bugs are worked out this will be a great addition to the game!!

FEEDBACK

1. Change the default behavior of selecting a team to have NO dragons selected. The "auto select" button can be used to do that and function as normal.

2. PLEASE when selecting for battle, give us a way to sort the dragons by reverse level, seeing lowest levels first.

3. 120 gems is far too high, even for a dragon of our choosing. I expect the higher rarities to cost much more, but for the commons to be this much is a little silly.

I like the idea of being able to complete the dragon collection or being able to empower them as well through this dragon rescue. I didn't see where to buy keys but I probably won't do that especially for commons.

Are there plans to get these keys from other events or perhaps adding like a cave that we can hit twice a day for a chance at a key?
I can see potentially buying keys for heroic dragons but I think if you guys do that the rescue should be really difficult for those orbs.

Suggestions for dragon rescue
-Reduce key cost for doors to 1. Going from 2 to 3 and then 5 is crazy to me. I think having a cost for selecting the dragon and then just 1 key for each door. For example, common dragon would be 2 keys to request and then 3 keys to get 100 orbs for summon. For heroic, 100 keys to request and then 3 keys for 100 orbs for summon.
-Add a way to sort by rank. This rescue is awesome for helping to rank dragons up. It would be great to start using no rank dragons first and then end with A+.

When selecting a dragon to rescue, I don't know if having the dragons you don't have at the top or dragons that you have empowered at the top or both? What do you guys think?

Can someone help? I didn’t see my question in DCP Facebook or here. The list has grayed out and colored dragons. My DR list has many common dragons with 0/100 - I know some are in storage. I’m wondering if the grayed out ones are truly missing from my collections (like Mace)? At least one of 0/100 colored ones is in storage. Thank you.

For me the grey one (1) was the one I did not have. It showed all others I have, also the onse that are in the dragonarium. You could recheck in the dragon book if you are not sure.

Thank you so much! I knew it was orbs but thought for some reason they could be redeemed inside the dragon rescue section. Much happier now!

I’m playing for Uncle Sam. He is the only common I do not have. I do like this idea.

The only commons I need are Queen, Blind, & Mace. I plan on saving my orbs for something better.

Suggestions:

• Default to weakest dragons first such that “auto select” button actually does something by switching to strongest available. This also prevents accidentally using your most powerful dragon on the end of a previous battle.
• Allow to sort dragon list low to high or high to low strength when selecting your team.
• As someone else said, put dragons you don’t have yet at the top of the list when picking the dragon you are trying to save. Maybe display like in the tree where you can see “New” and the number of orbs you have for each dragon.

Overall, I think this is a neat feature to add to the game.

Waking up to see 5 more keys in a chest was a welcome site today. And it spawns questions for me:

Will that be an ongoing thing?

If so, do we have to use the keys each day to get additional keys?

What are the plans for adding higher rarity dragons? Will they use the same keys with higher counts? Is it possible to bank keys now to use for access to better dragons later, or should we assume we need to use everything we get and just hope for more down the line?

Like many, I wouldn't ever spend 120 gems on a common dragon, or keys for a common dragon. We'd need to be talking Legendary or Heroic before I approach that kind of spending.

I'm also wondering: Are we able to start a rescue, get some of the orbs, and then switch to a new rescue? Or does every rescue we start have to go all the way to the finish before we can do a new one?

I'll experiment with some of these questions tomorrow.

Choose a dragon and rescue it, I love this! But how do i earn more keys or will we just get what we are given?

I definitely enjoy the events where I get to use multiple dragons at once to fight. I like that I can choose the dragon to summon by the end.
Here’s what needs to change:
Let me use dragons that have not died again.
The dragons that haven’t died need to have their health restored to full.

Search function is slow and bocks sometimes. A rarity filter on the automatic selection of the dragons would be useful, but apart from this, it is an interesting new feature.

Really like this new feature! Fighting is what drew me to this game and this has three great features: fighting, rating up and choosing your prize!

This is very enjoyable. Actually getting a dragon to pick makes me want to actually fight. My only complaint is that the Auto Select only picks my strongest dragons first. I prefer to start with my lowest level ones to wear the opponents down and then finish them off. Is there any way this could be fixed or made easier? That's the only problem I have with this event.

I like that we can get any dragon we want, but the keys are super expensive and sometimes hard to get/earn.

I have one query in that SP say the keys remain with us - does this mean that at the end of the 7 day rescue we will start with 10 new keys
I completed a dragon rescue in a day and was rewarded with 5 new keys the next day this meant I am now 5 keys short of completing a second dragon rescue unless I wish to purchase them with gems

I like the feature and would like to see it become a regular/ permanent fixture of the game. It gives a reason to use and power up low level dragons and allows them to improve their grade (A,B,C) when normally they would never be used. It would be less frustrating if you could choose to auto select in ascending or descending levels / power as I would rather use higher powered dragons later and low level dragons first but if you have many dragons tactically choosing them is unrealistically very time consuming. Some one mentioned completing stages and still not having enough keys. That would be somewhat pointless and feel like we were simply being pushed to spend real money. My feeling is it’s a great feature that could benefit from a few tweaks.

the auto select is not a good feature in my opinion. It should go to the level of dragons being faced rather than the the top dragons. Also as usually keys are too expensive.

@kevin-n-scott, I agree, 120 gems is outrageous for a common dragon. This event is supposed to be a new fun and easy way to collect dragons. I feel like there should be more ways to earn keys. For example, during the dragon rescue event there should be a second island where you do tasks to earn keys. Some of the tasks could include collecting food and gold, feeding your dragons, and doing league battles. I really love the idea of this event, but don't ruin it with unbelievable prices.
