If you stop your dragon rescue at the first door and start anew after the rescue has timed out, you need to do the same rescue 4 times to get enough orbs to summon. Do you know, or has anyone experienced if there's a limit to the number of rescues for a specific dragon? What I mean, could you for example go on after that and do 5 more rescues to empower the dragon to 1 star? And then 8 more to empower it to 2 stars, and so on?

@zzz I only did it four times in a row. But others do it to get more orbs more often.

Every week or so I check the dragon rescue just to see if Magmacity or Doorbuster shows up, they are my only two missing dragons left over from 2020. Imagine my surprise when I saw magmacity show up this evening. And I was even more surprised with my tenacity of sticking with it and finishing it in one setting. Yeah I know the prevailing strategy was to only open one or two doors at a time and gather the orbs slowly. But since I only have two dragons to claim I didn't want to take the slow route or the prolonged rescue or a summoning happy hour...so now I am down to 4 missing past dragons though two has never been officially released and Dragon Tv is still an active "event". So one missing dragon...the closest I have ever come to being a Master Dragon Master!! hehe

@Nynaevelan wow, luckily you got what you wanted this evening.

I don't have many keys, so I just do 25 of a legend at a time. I have 50 Alien Lurker Orbs right now. I'm getting more next week, but if I get a happy hour before then, I'm going to splurge on joker orbs. I have an insane amount (SP seems to be quite generous with legend jokers recently) and I have about 110. After Alien Lurker I'm going to get Viktor and Viktoria because I never got them and want them for my collection. I have a head start for those, 20 orbs already of each.

I recently started playing with this and have just collected a few common and rare dragons so far. I found if you start at the beginning of the auto select options and just go through, you can get through the rescue in one or two sittings. Once the auto-select runs out of 6 good dragons, I just go to change dragon and start picking from whoever is left. I have about 250 dragons out right now, so more dragons means less time needed for the rescue and it runs itself so I run it when I don't have anything else going on.

It's fun and another way to get some dragons. It also has the side benefit of powering up some dragons that I don't use much, which means I have some commons at C+ now, which amuses me for some reason.

I'm not sure why it says that but no I do not think they will add heroics to the rescue any time soon and honestly I hope they never do. As I've said in a previous post heroics, mythics, vampires and titans should not be added as they are elite dragons and treated as such. But to get your heroics empowered you could trade with your alliance and get them in events as rewards. Or buy them in the orb shop or temp sales.

i look it up in $%$. you can also calculate it from master point increases when you increase the level, but im not sure how that works.

No it won't. You can do like some of us and put them on specific islands or in kindergartens or the rainbow habitat, if you have them.

There is a formula for it, you should be able to find it by doing a search. But recently they seem to only stick to a few categories, very rare dragons at cat 4, epics at cat 5. Most regular Legends at cat 9, heroics always at cat 11. Mythics, Titans and Vampires are usually cat 10 but a few are cat 9.

@apoli first, all vampires are cat 10’s like mythics.

Second, they have 2 special abilities. The first ability that all vampires have is leech fang. Amazing ability. This is usually their primary element. They are all 2000 attack and has a 2 turn cooldown. The damage it causes also becomes a healing effect, so if you cause a 200k damage, you also gain that a life points.

The second special ability varies per vampire, and. Is usually the second element of the dragon. Sinful vampire’s ability is a GUARANTEED extra turn that has a 4 turn cooldown. Amazing ability and the best of all the abilities, IMO. It does medium damage only but it’s a guaranteed extra turn that resets every 4 turns. And if you kill a dragon with that attack, you still retain the extra turn, so it’s a tactical advantage.

Prideful vampire’s second ability is similar to kitsune, sacrificing it’s life points to increase damage. Blood God vampire is the rival vampire of Sinful. It’s second ability is it does small damage to all enemies and heals all team mates slightly( damage is about 25k @ level 70)... so when fighting this dragon, never leave a dragon under 25k. This ability IMO is decent but more geared towards opponents using 3 titans, that special ability can knock off all 3 titan shield with one attack.... but like i said, the damage is very low.

I finally rescued my 1st epic, Dark Tharos. Did it in 4 parts to save keys. Now I have to wait for another week for this last rescue to time out. Then on to Legendary. Haven't decided which one yet.

Oh. You will only unlock the legendary one when you complete the epic one. As far as I know it does not work with doing it in 4 parts for 100 orbs.

Sadly this is correct, you have to fully complete each earlier level to move up. Once you have them all available you can do partials on any you wish.

Now I have finished the epic part & can rescue a legendary when my dragons and I have recovered from that traumatic experience.

It's been quite a while since there was a dragon that I could rescue since I am only missing 3 old dragons. But I do periodically check it just in case one of them pops up to be rescued. Imagine my surprise when I checked today and saw the two new dragons are able to be rescued. I've already cleared the Piety rescue and I am 3 nodes away from completing the Relickeeper rescue. Now I need to replenish my 120 keys to bring me back over the 1000 mark.

I have an alliance team member who wants to know if mythicals are available to rescue. I don't think they are, but I don't know for sure. Does anyone know?

Personally, and I know I'm late, I love it. Although, I would like to see at least one heroic in the rescue. please?

@dragonlea I am thrilled that you did and you came here to tell us. My last holdout is being rescued now, I will start summoning once I reach that first door. This is so ironic, because I looked yesterday and she was not there.

I have a problem with a very strong Boss the Transmutation Dragon. In the Video you see he is defeating 3 dragons at once. That has to be a Bug - should I tell Support about that ?
And also at the End of the Video it seems he is getting back his lifeforce - that can´t be right !
If I do not finish this Dragon Rescue, I have to do it again and can´t go to the next Dragon, am I right ?

@b-l The opponents change with each rescue. If you really can not finish this one (you could fight again and again once your strongest dragons are recovered) just wait until it ends. Next time you will have another final opponent. Btw. If you are on a L rescue, you could also just do the first 10 fights for 5 keys and then stop. You will get 25 orbs for 5 keys, means 100 orbs for 20 keys after 4 weeks. That is cheaper and easier...but takes longer.

If that bothers you so much report it to support via a ticket. Otherwise if you don't want to waste the keys to get that far, just fight him with several teams until you win. However if you are playing such a young game that you do not have a lot of dragons to fight with you might either use Bettina's long method or avoid the rescues until you have more dragons.

Im not sure but honestly i think you have to just wear them down. In all the rescues I've done I've never beaten a boss team with one team. Some have taken three teams, some more. What I did is use weaker dragons to get there and then start with my strongest dragons and just keep at it until I wear them down. Of course, I have over 1500 dragons, so I just win by bulk not strategy. But even when I go at them with my strongest it still takes a few teams.

Is the Level of the Opponents fixed, or will it rise when I level up my Dragons ?
