Hello everyone and welcome to my 73rd analysis, this time featuring Frostwrath.
Frostwrath has great Speed, AOE Freeze and lots of stamina control. However, he faces competition from the similar Frostbite, who has better deny power and better power as an attacker, though Frostwrath's Speed saves him from being cursed by his trait, unlike Frostbite who suffers greatly from it.
Movesets:
-Polar Beam
-Chilling Sap
-Cold Fusion
-Shivering Bite/Icy Bolt
Runes: 3 Speed
Polar Beam Freezes all enemies, but it also applies Stamina Leak which will drain 30% of all enemies' Stamina before they can do anything. Chilling Sap is a great weapon vs. monsters who just recharged since they'll be denied by it. Cold Fusion applies Stamina Regen to all allies, which can allow them to do something after Stamina Devourers, plus it leaves the enemy's General Thetys at a painful 119 Stamina, just 1 short of being able to use Stamina Devourers-and yet worse, she has to wait until the leak goes away since it'll always leave her at most 119 Stamina. Lastly, Shivering Bite is a single target Freeze, but Icy Bolt drains even more Stamina after Polar Beam. 3 Speed is necessary to take advantage of his great Speed and be a denier.
Teammates: Any team works since he's a denier. Monsters who refresh CDs are especially useful though since he can spam Polar Beam this way and slowly drain enemies of Stamina while they can't move.
Countering Frostwrath: Be immune to Freeze, and you almost counter Frostwrath. General Ingvar can dodge Freeze with his trait, then use Encouragement to rid his team of all the debuffs Frostwrath applied, though he has to dodge Freeze for this to work. Caillech is immune to Freeze and gives her team immunity to Freeze and Stamina Regen in two different moves.
