I have been asked by one of my alliance members if there is a way to adjust the number of orbs in a trade. As I can not find an answer so far I am reaching out to see if anyone may have any knowledge that can help. Many thanks!!

There number of orbs in a trade is fixed.
But the number for each rarity is different.
Common trades for 15 orbs, heroic for just 5 orbs, the other rarities in between.

No you cannot, these numbers are fixed and as Susan stated they vary by rarity.
