Dear Dragon Masters,

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for our Team.

As announced last week, we have been dealing with a series of bannings, involving the use of third-party programs or tools that break our Fair Play Guidelines.

Despite some claims to the contrary, we are constantly and actively monitoring our systems. The ban waves we have just started to implement are the result of weeks and months of investigation, therefore ensuring that all actions taken are fair and objective.

This doesn’t mean, however, that each set of bannings includes all of the accounts that are under investigation. This will be an ongoing fight, and from now on, ban waves will become more regular.

Since some of you showed some concerns towards the bans and haven’t totally understood which actions are considered forbidden and a violation of our Fair Play Guidelines, we would like to draw your attention once again to this topic and help you clarify this.


As already mentioned in Dragon City’s Fair Play Guidelines, it is not allowed to:

Use any third-party programs or tools
What are third-party programs? They are tools that influence the normal gameplay, by systematically or automatically controlling the game or individual game functions (for example, they will automate the collecting of Food, Gold, and event items, or automate fights in Arenas and Leagues without requiring a real manual interaction from the player).

We know about the existence of several programs that have gained popularity amongst our players, and we want to make it clear that by using them, you are gaining unfair benefits and breaking our Terms and Conditions.

We also recommend that you do not use Airplane Mode. Dragon City is an online game, thus the game is not designed for the use of Airplane Mode. Players regularly using Airplane Mode may experience technical issues or trigger a ban on their account, as a result of this suspicious activity.

Use hacks, exploit programming errors (bugs)
If you identify any bugs or errors, you should report them immediately to our Customer Support, rather than using them to gain unfair advantages.

Sell or purchase game accounts
Any attempt to trade game accounts is a violation of our Terms and Conditions.


We would also like to clarify what is allowed and won’t result in a ban of your account:

The use of VPNs, with the only purpose of accessing your game account when experiencing a connection issue in your geographic area.

Playing your account on multiple devices, as long as you are not sharing your account with other users and you are ensuring the security of your game account data (password, any login information) to prevent the unwanted use of your game account.

Playing multiple different accounts, as long as you are the legitimate owner and you are not accessing another user’s account.
