i see at lot of people having highly developed kratus dragons. i just looked it up, his strongest attack is 2100 pure, just like the pure dragon itself. is the kratus dragon in any way stronger than just a pure dragon? does it have more hp? it has additional war of course, but other than that?
The defense hp and attack points between the two are very similar. Cat 5 has slightly more hp while Cat 9 has slightly more attack power. Now, this is considering that both are Legendary dragons, as there are some very good L dragons which are cat 5, such as Abyss, Apocalypse, Forge, Millennium, Promethium. But if the dragon is any less than a legendary, like Epic, the defense hp and attack points are about 40% lower.
The other big difference between these comes down to master points. Cat 9 dragons are worth 80% more in MP than Cat 5 dragons. But can they battle just as well? Basically yes, if that’s all you care about. Most people if they’re going to spend 120M food on level 70 dragons are going to want only the best ones for it, so the food isn’t wasted on less than stellar fighters.
Remember that Kratus is exceptionally easy to breed. All you need is a Pure and a War, and you will get Kratus about 30% rate, the other possibility being Pure and War. Maturity level no factor. This might be another reason players opt for Kratus because he’s so easy to breed.
