Any thoughts as to why my data usage last month for Monster Legend alone was 6GB? I never watch the in-game videos unless I'm on Wi-Fi and I rarely do that anyway. I play the same amount each month, have been play for years. Obviously something changed, here the numbers: April - 2.46GB, May - 4.76GB, June - 6.01GB. I can't always be on Wi-Fi so if this continues, I'm not going to be able to play anymore. My carrier was no help, says that category is "Social Media & Networking" and they wouldn't elaborate on that. I do zero social media, I only have a facebook account for these types of games in order to save my settings/history. I'm already up to 1.48GB 6 days into the new month.

Crazy data usage this month
Post count: 174Reputation: 82Joined:My data usage for playing ML was also extremely high.
I found that my iPhone will switch to data when watching the videos, even when I have the wi-fi on. (I'm convinced this is a conspiracy but that's another story)
My solution was to turn off data when I'm at home, forcing the phone to use wi-fi only. Then if I watch videos, I only do it at home using wi-fi.
Problem fixed. My data usage went down 90%. Yeah, it's kind of a pain to turn your data on and off but it saved me some $$$.

That's a good tip, I will have to try that.
