What I’ve seen, from personal experience and an alliance member who had >2600 gems refunded is this -
1st response - auto response stating they will answer shortly
2nd - a copy and pasted statement related to your issue that always looks like they didn’t fully read your message
3rd - a more personal answer that may or may not be in your favor, but in my experience will explain things.
To note, in the year I’ve been playing, I’ve only needed to contact them for maybe 6-8 issues. But they recently settled a problem I’ve had since April, my friend had his gems refunded, and today they gave me a reasonable answer to why in the world after gemming the vampire hatching that I had to speed up (80 gems) the 1st quest to complete the 2nd in the time given. And threw me 10 pity gems for good measure.
That said though, my friend who got banned has to this point been basically blown off. We think we know why the ban happened, and it was not her fault in any way.
Years ago, I was banned by Blizzard (World of Warcraft) because of new banning mechanics that went wrong. It happens. I just hope sp cares enough to get it right.
