I have been playing this game for about a month now and was starting to wonder.
The Maze-coin event already took place about three times since I started playing and the currency always looks the same.
Lets say I dont spend 1000 coins in the last event, will I start the next event off with those? Or do they just disappear

The coins for maze, grid, tower, fog, puzzle or runner islands do not carry over to the next event.
Make sure you don't purchase more than necessary if you are buying with real money.

Yup, they won't be carried over to the next event. You will have to start off without those.
