Okay, this has been happening to me for a few months now, maybe even a year or two.

Random people are just sending me nonsense Private Messages where they ask for 99999 Gems and if hacks exist for the game.

I am starting to get annoyed by these private messages.

To anyone who is also getting these messages, how do you deal with them?

As a random aside, how do you remove people that are following you? I don't really want random users to be following me.

I don't think you can affect who follows you. You can turn on the option to only get messages from people who you follow but that will also screen out people who you want to message who you are not following.

I guess the best thing to do is just ignore it or just respond "Don't contact me" to people who I don't want to talk to.

Yep. If you are getting messages requesting hacks, you could pass them on to us mods to take the necessary actions regarding forum rules.
