With the introduction of the books i find it harder to decide on which rune combinations work best on some.

Looking for opinions on the best runes for Shallinar, not sure if 1 speed and 2 strength , 2 speed and 1 Strength or maybe even a team speed .

I know a lot of you switch runes depending on the war but i would rather not :), my team doesn't do it very often.

Using lvl 10 runes and Shallinar is 115

I don't have her, but my son does and currently has her with one team speed and one team strength. I have been using her in the latest dungeon playing his game for him while he is away at camp.

I think given this dungeon she would do better with more strength. I would take the team strength off and put on a regular strength. Given that she is my son's second strongest female, I would pay to unlock the third slot (probably not an issue for you) and put another individual strength rune on her. Given that he is not a denier, I would probably leave the speed rune a team rune.

Just my $0.02. Oh and her level is only 78, so take it for what it is worth.

Mine is at lvl 120, she normally holds a lvl 9 strength & 2 speed runes...had to swap out her speed runes for team speed in the recent Fire/Sea/epic rules.

She needs one Strength. Any combination of speed and team speed for the other 2. I move runes as needed to penetrate defences, but most commonly I run 2 team speed, to boost the denier to give her the space she needs, to kill. Stun immunity and possession mitigation reduces the need to move her up the turn order.

She is one of the best hitters in game.

She needs a combination of self strength and self speed, possibly team speed. The combo will depend on the rune levels you have. You want her to do enough damage to KO, but not be too slow.

I have her at 115 (120 very soon) I gave her 2 VI strength and 1 VII speed. She is great like that for me, as that is the level of runes I have. I usually have team speed on someone else.

However, if your rune level is higher you can go 8 self strength or higher, with 2 self low speed (6 or 5 for example) or 1 high self speed and 1 high team speed (7+)

I was running 2 VII strength runes and 1 VII speed but have been wanting to put some lvl 10s on her.

I am going to go 1 strength, 1 speed and 1 team speed and see how it goes.
