I've asked this question before in the old forum but what are the benefits of using FB or Discord or any other messaging tools in a team? How is it better than the team chat? I know all the top teams do it, and my team (Untouchables...) would love to do whatever we can to better ourselves. Also, of the communication tools, which is the best and why? Thanks for the feedback!

Bonuses of having team FB Chat/Discord?
Post count: 1188Reputation: 1038Joined:Location: Australia@Magni We use both, FB and Discord, as not everyone likes to use FB and Discord is in many ways superior to FB and we managed to convert a couple of people....
... it works much better for organising your team as in-game chat disappears and people don't get notifications for it either. You can post all sorts of stuff there that helps players on your team, from guides to speedcharts or just to discuss strategies for wars. Our team would only be half as successful as it is without those added channels of communication!

Bonuses of having team FB Chat/Discord?
Post count: 0Reputation: -6Joined:I am one of those converts, Discord has a lot of advantages to Facebook. Facebook seems to be slow and not everyone uses it but a lot of people use Discord and it takes very little resources .It is available for just about every platform. It is much faster then FB and runs quietly in your tray on you computer. It is excellent for contacting privately or to the whole team.
