We can go to Conjurer for free... nice to know. I have wanted Retired for some time (IMO one of the better dragon reskins) so I’m happy to have picked him up. I got Scrapper in a lucky Legendary Chest as well.

Yep.

I don't think I will get all the grid coins from the puzzle this time. So I decided to collect chests instead of trying to get Ali Baba. Got a surprise from a Lucky Legendary chest.

I know this is supposed to be useful in breeding but isn't really. Acts like a joker? Can someone refresh my memory?

@dragonista She used to be one of the three jokers until they stopped using them, probably because there were so many complaints due to the pure element.

Oh, that was a decision to stop using the joker dragons? Great. I never had any, so went ahead and started rescuing them to finally have some jokers for breeding... and now they are useless.

I got all new things for free it these parallel events. Actually, I was waiting for the moves sale to get at least 200 to speed things up but as it never came I eventually collected all the dragons and am 1 step away from Ali Baba thanks to the coins from the grid and the extra moves from the Dragon TV (speaking of which, I was so happy for a while there were no more idiotic creatures in the game lately... but here comes this "Dragon TV Dragon" horror movie to join the likes of Maki, Stone, etc and destined to a lifetime hibernation in the storage in its egg form). A good beginning of the year for me anyway, with 3 well-needed days off beginning tomorrow

Correction: there's a runner island starting Jan 9, the vacation will be a lot shorter than I thought

@vanessa-hidalgo I got Salamander, Burning Sands, and Nile God. I'm getting better at getting epics in puzzles and runner events.

@vanessa-hidalgo HA, yeah, I am a collector and want all the dragons but that Dragon TV dragon is definitely one of the odd ones!

@tante @Vanessa-Hidalgo Thanks for making me realize that there is a DRAGON as a reward! I just saw it as Dragon TV icon, and I only got food rewards so far. But now I have to admit that I find this dragon pretty cute. Sorry. The others you mentioned are much worse.

Someone talk me down....this is just a game....

First, I try to breed an egg with Primal and Sea for more puzzle moves and got two Primals in a row. I used gems to get past that since I found some dragons in my storage to statisfy the hatching end of that. Then for Dark and Ice, first I get a dark, then a Penguin (yay!) but then a Zombie! Guh!

Oh, and the ads to get more grid coins aren't working, keeps saying not available so between that and not having as many puzzle moves, I'm not going to get nearly as many grid coins as I was hoping for.

@tante I would love to help and “talk you down”, but unfortunately have some similar issues. I got Zombie as well, and worse, started on a “Nature+War” breeding before realizing it takes FOUR of those for puzzle moves... and even the one has very long breeding/hatching times! (I think it was Red Woods). So then I go for 3 dragons with the War element. Breeding 2x War. And I get two 5-hour breeding Wars, but now the third takes 12 hours or so, don’t know what that will be.
And to top it off, I accidentally hit “use” while looking through my storage dragons, so now the last hatching spot I need for my last War hatching is taking by a totally useless spare dragon with a 2-day hatching time!
But maybe seeing I was stupid on top of being unlucky will still make you feel better?

@tante I can't talk you down but I can put a mattress at the bottom to catch you when you jump. Sadly I do not bother with these too much, I stop after the dark/ice level and I too had something similar but it only took me 3 breeds to get the 2 I needed. Mostly I just dedicate 100-150 gems to the first mission set but by the end of the triad I usually get at least half back. So I mostly just stick to the first two mission sets.

I try to finish all of the ads on dragon tv because if there is a dragon or a chest that I want that might be useful on my islands during events for more coins or whatever currency.

I’ve actually realised that with ads and the Runner, I should be able to get Ali Baba. He’s actually really well designed. The ancientish design and his glowy eyes actually look very good on him.

@_thespacebeing_ I think that would be possible if you played every 8 hours, watched dragon tv ads, got coins from the puzzle, and the runner. Because you can only get 12600 coins by actions and you need about 18000 for Ali Baba.

I reached Ali Baba today and did not buy any coins, but did get all the grid coins from the puzzle. And I accidentally wasted about 1200 coins because I took a wrong turn in the grid. So it is definitely doable for free.

@titania I didn't get Lamp Genie but I got Retired, I'm deciding him to be my third fully trained dragon.

Same here without the 1200 coin mistake. I will end with @4500 extra coins to spend.

I’ve now got Ali Baba. Hooray for me, hopefully I can reach the Legend in the next Grid too.

Whelp.....got 35 pages on my main, so decent chance of 65 pages. Got nature orbs.

I doubt my baby accts will will even get close to 65 since they are currently hovering in the low 20’s....so 35 pages will be their goal. The chest drops are just so skewed towards one vs 3 or 5

@michael-lon True. And I am wondering if collecting lost pages is even worth it- for 5 epic joker orbs, 5 gems and a little food rewards?
I will never get to 65, and so far, collecting pages has not yielded anything worthwhile. Am I missing something?

Edit: Ok, I finally realized there is a better reward for 35 pages, so I guess I will try for that at least. I am still getting the hang of those „progress“ icons!

Got Ali Baba & the other 2 new dragons, so I think that's a win.
