Collections: 600 coins every 8 hours (5400) = 5800 coins.
The total does not include coins we can get from runner, quests or dragon tv.

Dragons:
Elements -R- #237: 860 coins.
Dreamgaze Emerald -VR- #1324: 2825 coins + 1 key = 3285 coins.
Samba -E- #381: 3630 coins + 2 keys = 6005 coins.
Orange -L- #1490: 6020 coins + 3 keys = 10830 coins.

Timelimited:
16 - 18: Alebrije -L- #1310: 8165 coins.
17 - 18: Carnival Queen -L- #1263: 6720 coins.

Nice. I don’t have carnival queen so I should be able to get both orange and her for free (maybe).

Carnival Queen. I don't have her, and Orange is a little expensive. Those two are the only ones I don't have.

Hmmm Orange might be out so I am going to just walk the path anyway assuming I can get there based on the quest and runner island and hope we get at least one set from the tv. Otherwise I will just summon her. I have 60 orbs so far so hopefully I can get at least 20 more in order to summon before the collection is over.

I have 50 orbs of orange. If I get all the coins from the quest I will be about 1650 coins short of orange. TV will probabley not give enough coins to make up the difference. I'd be surprised if SP would be generous enough to give us orbs to summon it before the end of the event.

That is what I am thinking as well.

There are maze coins for 3k in runner .... do we might need two days off tv to get to the dragon.

I just got 10 red paint buckets, and as a reward, I got 120 orbs of... Yellow Dragon. I was hoping red paint = Red Dragon but I could still get him from blue and yellow paint rewards. Still, an empowered Yellow Dragon is going to be nice for thing like breeding.

@_thespacebeing_ That's strange. I was thinking everyone would get the same color orbs as the 10 cans collected. I did.

Hmm I must have gotten lucky, my orbs matched the color of cans I collected. Yellow for yellow. Blue for blue and Red for red.

What is the price if we collect all the coloured dragons? I am only missing Orange Dragon and that one is probably not in my reach for free so want to know what I miss out on if I can’t get the Orange Dragon. Thanks

Look in the collection, scroll to the box with all the Dragons and the possible rewards are listed there.

Just what we need. One more icon bouncing around the screen. This one letting us know that Alebrije is ready to free. I wonder if it will stay until it's freed or if it will go away if I ignore it long enough.

What's worse is that it doesn't seem to go away and is abnormally high up, making Gold collection a nightmare. I tried collecting gold 3 times and went into the island twice.

I got Blue orbs for the yellow paint. I'm two cans off the blue paint collection so I'd better get Red from it.

@dragonista Since it has the timer for the length of the timed path I am thinking it will stay there for the entire time and joy, joy it will most likely be replaced with the icon for the next timed path. This must be something they are proud of and thrilled with because ML started something similar and it is just as flawed there as well.

Just a restart, no it comes back. But a restart and going into the maze makes it go away, yay!!

The annoying alebrije popup has gone yay!

Plus, they added a timer to the island itself. I don't see why but it isn't in the way so there's no harm done.

I've decided to ditch getting a Dragon in particular from the maze and just focus on paint chests. I could get red from the blue collection, but as others have said they got yellow on all three, I'm not holding my breath.

Thank you, I didn’t click on the box to see the rewards so I only saw the rewards that is shown for the blue paint.

I’m guessing the thing will continue to float if you still have the tutorial for maze on. Just open the first cage and the tutorial will go away, along with the floating , annoying thing... i hope.

This was a very nice surprise. Darksteel is a pretty good Dragon.

Any thoughts on Carnival Queen vs. Orange dragon? Just in case Orange becomes doable for free for me. I don’t have Carnival Queen and she seems more interesting to me than Orange.

Since I also did not get Green (unless I spend significant gems to speed up the summoning), that color quest reward for getting all color dragons will be out of reach anyway. And to be honest, that quest reward is not so interesting for me, only 120 red orbs would be good but I most likely would not get that anyway.

Thanx to a summoning happy hour if I do not pick up a lucky 1000 maze coins in the next TV cycle i will be able to summon Orange with 40 jokers and 23 gems in order to complete the last reward tier in the collection in order to get an additional 120 Red orbs. Sadly I will be one node short to get Orange for free. And the irony is if I had not claimed the first 500 coins in the Runner as grid coins i would have made it. But 40/23 is a small price to pay to get me closer to the second star of Red.

I suggest checking what you'll get in terms of gems by using AP mode to speed up the summoning. Mine revealed 50 gems, so even if I had to spend 48 gems to do it, it's worth it. This is less true if you can't get Orange for free though.

I didn't get lucky in the tv so my Orange is summoning now. I will rush it and send it to the hatchery a few hours or so before the event ends so that I can get the collection done in time. Too bad it does not recognize it on the Tree.

@nynaevelan I'm going almost the same route. I have already summoned & speed hatched orange. Now green is summoning. I'll have to speed hatch it so I can get credit before the event ends. Guess I'll have to set my alarm clock so I can use few gems.

Edited to correct: I have already speed summoned orange & it is in the hatchery. Now green is summoning. I'll have to speed the summoning for green so I can get it to the hatchery before the event ends. I'll have to set my alarm clock so I can use fewer gems.

I think I got it right this time.

Only got Blue and Yellow in this event, but getting Alien Lurker makes all that ok. The race tomorrow should hopefully be easy enough.

Same here, events start and end at 6 am here so if I am not up and about or if I go to bed really late will determine if I rush it before bed or after an alarm. I already know after using AP that I will get 25 gems in the chest so any time I can scrape off to save me the remaining 23 will be helpful. Luckily this is the only one i need to know, I already received all the others and sadly the puzzle cost be between 5-100 gems to claim the Red dragon. If I had known I was going to get orbs in one of the collection chests for Red I could have saved my gems there.

I'm about to get Orange as soon as I do my last coin collection, at which point I'll have an egg.
I'm summoning Green because I didn't get him in the flight but I had orbs and it's happy hour. That's at about 40 hours.

I reckon I'll have to rush Green's summoning to make it. But do I also need to rush the hatchings?

The reason I ask is cost-benefit analysis. I don't want to spend 40 gems rushing the summon if I also need to spend another 24 to rush the hatching. I'm not actually sure the chest is worth that many gems.

I believe that as long as you get the egg to the hatchery before the event ends you will get credit for it. You don't need to have it hatched.

No you only need to rush the summoning, having it on the hatchery, in storage or hatched will count.

I didn’t have to. Once the eggs were on the nest, it counted.

I decided to not go for the color wheel chest, it wasn’t worth it for me (40 gems needed for speeding Green summoning...) So I went for Carnival Queen which was new for me and also got Elements and Dreamgaze Emerald, also new for me.
From the color chests on the path I got more orbs for Orange and Purple, so I can summon Orange sometime. And again I am rather exhausted and not really crazy about going into the next race straight away...
