I don't understand your question but it is my understanding when you collect the sword from the previous portion of the collections plus the other requirements you will get the 200 orbs. But to get that previous portion completed you need the heroic and the banners which you get from the race.

I am wondering if these 320 orbs are replacing the post race quests or are these additional orbs for that third star.

@nynaevelan The sword from the collection is the exact same item you get from the race when completing lap 23. That's my question... if I get from the race, does it complete the collection?

As I said, technically is the exact same item, but I'm not sure if would trigger the collection reward

About your thoughts for the 320 orbs, that's a good question too and I really hope that's not the case, I would be very sad if it is

I think the confusion is coming from calling the new skin (for lap 23) "Ultimate Pure Sword" when in fact it's only a skin.

The "sword" requirement for the 200 orbs is received from completing "Queen Joadycea's Victory" by collecting the heroic dragon, 55 sword fragments and the 3 flag sigils.

And I too wonder if this means no empowerment quests after the race. Hopefully not as they did the same with the High Druid (I think it was), but things are always subject to change

@runvs I understood now, you're right. We get the skin from the race directly, not the sword. oh boy, my chances of getting those 200 orbs just decreased quite a lot now kkk.

So you can get the skin in the race or out, I may actually get another skin this time since I've only gotten one or two from the races previously.

If the contents of the collection chests are random, why the distinguishing colors? That is just confusing.

Lap 8 in the race and still no banner in the chest. I am starting to think this one is going to be a waste of my time. And to add insult to injury one of my babies got the Terra banner in their lap 4 chest.

Got this for L8 chest. Now I have 4 sword pieces.

Eighth chest opened and I got my terra banner. Now the count begins again for the wind banner, I hope it doesn't take 8 more. I think I am over 10 in Sword pieces, I have not been counting since I'm not optimistic I will reach 55. I'm just hoping for the 3 banner rewards at this point.

@titania i was just coming here to post the same. I'm farther than I thought, I'm at 39 now. And just passed lap 12 so I have 2 banners.

@titania I've been opening as many chests as possible hoping for the wind banner but since it is pictured on the runner Island I wonder do we have a shot at it. Though I do hope these chests count towards it.

Edit: oops a maze is next not a runner, for some reason I was thinking since it is wind it must be runner. This just decreased my chances of getting that banner because I am doing this part for free.

@nynaevelan I am not doing too well on chests and presumably won’t have enough coins for the maze to make a significant difference. I am only at 23/55 and even that only due to my “lucky 10”. But who knows... just 2 or 3 more 10s would do it.

I am hoping on 1 or 2 more but the way my luck goes with the chests the remaining ones I open are going to have all 1s. They like to get me close but not close enough.

You all are doing way better than me. I think I have 15 on one account and 13 on the other.

I made it to 50 fragments but I do not think I am going to make it to 55 because I think I only have a shot at 1 or maybe 2 more chests and my next chest is due to give me 3 fragments and the second chest only gives me 1 but getting the 55 is pointless because I still have not gotten the wind banner.

I opened 13 chests since the chest which had the terra banner, it was on the tv but it would have been in the quests if they had not offered a TV promo today, I tested my next chest from quests in a mode. I also got another 10 right before that one that git me exactly to 55. I did use gems in the last quest with the chest to make sure I didn't miss any.

Sadly I've wasted 80+ gems on trying to breed that sss dragon, my cap is 100 so only 1 or 2 more breeds before that is a wash.

I have all 3 banners now but I still need 10 more sword fragments.

@dragonista And I just found the wind banner as well on the Sssniperwolf path in the maze. But I only have 39 sword fragments . And not enough maze coins for Glaive either. So getting the wind banner is pointless after all.

Dang nation!!! I spent $4.99 off my Apple gift card to buy tokens to finish the Glaive path. Got the dragon but no Wind Flag in any chest on the path. I'm at 42/55 sword pieces. By now I should know better than to try completing these collection events.

Was wondering if anyone knows if any more chests are going to be possible? Through TV or another quest?

I’m 2 fragments away and would rather not spend 200 gems for 2 chests through the current Banner Offer they have going... although I think it’s worth 200 gems for the 320 orbs and a skin

Just decided to spend the 200 gems and got lucky on the first chest! Only 100 gems!

I just realized I am one sword fragment short of completing the collection. I wish the purchase with gems option lasted until the event actually closed.

@bryanr I have seen several players that assumed the fragment chest would be purchasable through the end of the event. Maybe send a ticket in-game to express your frustration, and hopefully they will be more careful next time.

I too made the assumption that there would be a chest that included the wind banner. While I did not expect to buy any, I found it distasteful that the pure banner was sold for money rather than gems, I guess this was their way of not "giving away" the banner for those newbies who won their race but did not get as high as lap 12. I can kind of see their point because the races are hard and it would be unrealistic to give it to those that made it to lap 5 and at the same time for those that raced to get to lap 12. But still it should have been on sale for more gems with those awful success rates rather than for real money.
