The total does not include coins from quests or Dragon TV.

Same here, I'm on the 6th floor now.

@nynaevelan me too. Although I haven’t started climbing on this account. Taterbug is on the 6th floor.

@nynaevelan @DeeDee68 That means you both bought coins though? I tested and once again, the golden chests don’t hold orbs of the main reward dragon any more. So for the first time ever I will try and wait until the end to try and go for the top for free. But I don’t expect it to be feasible.

Considering how many 1's I am getting, the odds of me getting the top dragon are just about zero. I've stopped counting the rolls, but of my 1st 9, 7 were 1's.

No I didn’t buy coins. Just heading for the up springy thing. Nothing else. Not even the fairy dust chests.

I got some good rolls, usually for me the 1rst day I get a lot of 2s and 3s, then when I hit the expensive floors I get lots of 1s. With the three collections plus the 2 rounds of the coins from the TV, I made a straight run up.

There is no one who can tell you what to go for, you have to make that decision on your own based on what you want to get out of the event. However if you tell what goals you want, others can suggest if it is doable.

@nynaevelan @DeeDee68 Ok, thanks. I am following your lead now, made it to L6.
I just expected it would be very unlikely that we can reach the top for free, and as I said, I have never tried going for the top before.
And then if we don’t make it all the way up, we will also have missed out on the quest chests… but no risk, no fun.

Top floor, 12 moves to go....all for free. Now crossing my fingers and toes I don't get all 1s. But even if I do I have 4 collections to go so I should still make it.

Just reached the top floor as well, with 19 moves still to go and 4 collections coming… there were a lot of 1s on my previous level, so I am also hoping for a few higher spins to get me to the dragon!

4 rolls - 4 ones. I give up. I'm going back down. If I can reach the down catapult.

@dragonista Sorry to hear that. I am actually going to reach the top for the first time ever (for free of course). Had three 3s in a row on the top level and am now 3 steps from the dragon with two more collections coming.
Of course, the down side is that I could not collect any event chests, but as @Nynaevelan said: I guess I am skipping this one, I won’t reach the final reward anyway!

@titania I got very few 3's & only when I needed only 1 or 2.

@dragonista THAT happened to me too, of course. Almost all 1s on the previous level. But then, finally, fortune smiled.

I’m 7 steps away from the reward dragon. With 2 collections left, hoping not to get only 1s. Which has been the case on this level

I really was lucky this time:

I am 2 steps away from the fae flora dragon

Got the dragon. For free! I didn’t get anything else except for the wand. I’m happy with it. Not really interested in the collection rewards this go around.

@deedee68 Congratulations! I did not get the wand as I feared the detour would cost me the dragon… but it is my first time ever at the top of the tower and that I got the reward dragon this way.

I still much preferred the towers where the golden chests held orbs of the reward dragon. That way it is possible to collect event chests and golden chests and then I could always summon the reward dragon from the orbs. If you’re listening, SP…

I did a run through and I can get the dragon for free, but I’m not sure what to do still. I could do with empowering Fireflower again, so I should get enough orbs to do that. And then I can collect the dusty chests. Decisions...

So I just had no plan for Tower so I just thought to see how far I could get - I've never been past like level 3 or something....got to the last level and it's so fancy up there! I didn't get to the star but oohed and aahed over all the Legendary chests....so fancy but so high up and I'm not great with heights!
