Again, I don't know whether there has been a post on this. I haven't searched that yet.

So, It would be nice to add this feature because I recently was and am very low on food....
If there I could have traded gold for food, I could have got 2nd Position in the Heroic race and also would have been able to feed my Sea Titan Dragon to Max Level also. So yes it would be very nice to have this feature where you can trade Food for Gold, and Vice Versa. But not only that we would be able to trade like 3M gold for 2-3 Gems, etc. Would be very cool

I agree, but the downside with this is the amount of bugs there could be.

I don't think this would be a sensible feature. If you want to trade gold to an alliance member and get food in return, why not just use that gold to grow more food on your farms? Or use gems to buy in the shop (not recommended BTW, the shop is outrageously expensive)?
Besides, food is always in demand; everyone needs it and everyone wants it. Nobody who knows how to play this game effectively would ever trade food for gold.

And for me, gold is real easy to get. Then again, I'm lvl 39.

the only use of this feature would be to fast track new accounts, preventing their owners to spend money on them ...
