Are dragons given experience points for:
fighting - participating in a fight, whether won or lost
personally beating an opponent
being part of a group that achieves victory
amount of damage dealt
do higher level opponents give more xp?
does a level difference between your dragon and the opponent give xp bonuses?
I asked this of tech support some time ago and got no response.

@adrian-fields If you ask about the ranking of dragons (C- to A+) only the dragon who does the final strike gets 1 point for the victory. Lost fights dont count.
Damage is only based on the level, rank and category of your dragon, trained attacks give a bit more damage. Click here for more informations about categories.

A simple forum search would help to give you info so you wouldn't have to ask as much. But most of the advanced info is what you will probably need to ask.

@nynaevelan No, the forum search doesn't work very well. I tried a few different combinations of keywords.

It's ironic that the code for excellent searching (regular expressions) was developed way back, but that no modern search engines have a way for users to use it.

Anyway, a manual with a table of contents and an index should be available. Having to guess what to search for is frustrating. And very inefficient.

You are free to write one..... but your best bet is probably Facebook groups or discord. I also think there may be a reddit for DC. But I know of no game, at least any I play where the developers provide full or partial manuals for their games.

@nynaevelan No manuals is a travesty. Games used to come with them. I cannot understand why someone would put in the effort to make a good game, but not take the time to document it. I am baffled and unhappy about it.

Actually, if you click on your level profile, you can see how you can get XP.

@naomi-lyon Yes, how a player gains xp, but not detailed, and nothing about how dragons gain xp. Now I know that there is no complexity. It is number of wins. That's what I wanted to know.

@adrian-fields yes dragon xp is accumulated by winning battles, but not all battle types do so. Quests, leagues, arenas, friend challenges do give points. Fights in heroic race missions and in mazes do not give points.
