In Hot topics Q&A (July 2017) this is the answer from SP I think on our questions on what happened in 72hour challenge and what is happening in the maze.

Although I think change can be good and for many of us it became a routine to do some stuff the same way like saving gold/growing food for 72 hour challenge and breeding thunder eagles for maze (we are creatures of habit after all).
A little warning before a challenge starts would be nice.
Also a 72hour challenge is a little short to figure out what does work especially for the the higher levels that have a more difficult time to gather coins and although I dont expect to get all monsters it would be nice to get at least one and not having to spent 24/3 at the game (some of us do have other things to do).

Changes in breeding and hatching in the maze I dont have a problem with that although again a warning/hint would be nice some beginners ask advise here, fb reddit etc and there whole groups who are misinformed now and we (I) don't give hacks or shortcuts but advise how to approach an event.

I know SP is working on many things but it would also be nice to inform us before an event starts specially with a short timed event and maybe a little hint on where we should concentrate on

During last 72 h challenge , we had gold fever and harvester timed challenges So i was growing food at max - 2.8 every hour - i was collecting gold every hour when i regrow food -- nearly 200 M / day -- doing my pvp as fast as i have 3 coins for the league reward and i was breeding for Darkzgul

and in the end i got about 8k coins ,, how can i create new strategy here , those are the 4 actions that give 72h coins ?!

I understand where you are coming from and i agree with you partially. No i do not think they should try their balancing on any event that is less than 5 days, there just is not enough time to correct it without negatively affecting us and therefore them. However as much as i would like it i do not think they should warn us, for two reasons. 1. If they did and we concentrated on that and it didn't give us what we were expecting it would create a lot of anger. 2. It would reduce the challenge. Sp should challenge us on the long events, but the short ones should be easier because they do not give the time for course corrections, for any of us.

Ok no hint I understand but they could have made a bigger deal that they have changed some things specially after the 72hour challenge, being such a let down for many

i am ok with balancing events without warning . what i refuse is this sugar coating "create new strategies " and bla . In the last 72h there was no new strategy or anything and if they shifted the highest amount of coins from food to any other activity or even added new one like feeding there is no problem it will take us 1 hour or 2 to find the new trick and deal with it

What happened was just balancing by making things harder , like what happened before with maze from an event you can complete free to event possible to complete without buying coins but still you get nearly all monsters from maze

Just hope Sp tweak next 72h abit easier , Donot want to add it to my ignore list
