Inspired by the post about skills you would want to combine in a monster. My list for that is the same as the list below, with the difference that I think those skills should not exist. I am perfectly aware that these skills/monsters often are the only fair chance lower ranked players have to beat higher ranked players, but on a more or less equal battle field they just are broken. I also am aware SP will be flooded with poop if they do any of the things that I suggest below, but hey ... you also survived the Thorder nerf. ;)
So I am curious to what skills everyone thinks are broken and how they could be fixed. Please do not list specials, they are supposed to be OP.
Voltaik/Zyla: Any of the extra turn skills with only 1 or 0 cooldown. The ability to sweep an entire team after getting a turn, with very little consequences if one or two skills miss, always was and still is ridiculous.
Solution: No extra turn after a miss.
Demise, Strength From Beyond: The ability to 'teleport' a monster to the front of the turn order is an interesting mechanism, but it just can be abused too easily. Almost every defence can be broken with a 95-100% certainty of success (as demonstrated by the recent results of AMAB- LHOG, 445 (with one crash)- 431 and AMAB -POF, 429 (with 2 crashes) -441).
Solution: Stamina dump the monster after the turn he got when teleported.
Thetys, Stamina Devourers: An AOE that cannot be missed and cannot be resisted. Unique in the game and therefore broken, no matter the obvious drawback (which is much less of a drawback in a 3 L environment anyway).
Solution: Make it a 90% accuracy skill. If it doesn't hit everyone also take away less stamina from Thetys (if you can program this for Nox's Total obliteration you can do the same here).
Ophiuchus/Delphi Guardian: A 2 turn possession AOE. OK, who could possibly think this was a good idea? And give it to an epic even?
Solution: Make it a 1 turn possession AOE, or single 2 turn possession.
Nautilus/ Prey Becomes Hunter: This skill was bugged from the start, because no one had learned anything from the Volray incident. A monster getting 3 extra turns and the ability to completely destroy the enemy team would be overpowered already on a Legendary (and that is why the Sentinel DIES after his 3 extra turns move). It certainly should not be the skill of an epic and should have been fixed long ago.
Solution: Make it a one extra turn skill as it is supposed to be.
