The Female book is one of the better books overall, in my opinion.

One of the factors that I hold in high regard for an attacker is the ability of a monster to increase its own damage output. Remember, this rubric considers which monsters can deal the most damage in the shortest amount of time.
Tier 1:

13_1498671212809_Shallinar_3.jpg
Shallinar is one of the best attackers out there. Her ability Inner Fire, gives her double damage and an immediate extra turn, allowing you to start dealing damage faster than anybody. She's a single target killer and lacks any good AoE damage, but you're likely to kill whatever you're hitting. She can also burn enemies and apply sticky lava, increasing the damage dealt even more!

14_1498671212809_Zyla_the_Faithful_3.jpg
A monster in the mold of Voltaik, Zyla the Faithful is a cash only monster that, due to multiple extra turns, can deal serious damage. Unlike Voltaik, you can't keep using her until you run out of stamina, but you can get 3 or 4 turns in at once. While she can't buff her damage output, with 4 turns in a row, you really don't need it. As a VIP monster, her Bulwark trait is the best in the game, reducing the chance of negative effects hitting by 50%.

Tier 2:
10_1498671212809_Leviana_3.jpg
Leviana moves toward the top of this list because she can give herself the very rare triple damage buff. After it take effect, you're pretty much going to kill something with her next attack. Like most fire monsters, she can also burn targets.

0_1502576667498_Lux_Aura_3.jpg
Most attackers buff only their own damage, but Lux Aura can give double damage and precision to any one of your monsters. She's also a pretty versatile monster, supporting allies by refilling stamina and removing debuffs, blinding enemies, and dazing enemies.

12_1498671212809_Obsidiane_3.jpg
Obsidiane has a damage output on par with Lux Aura, at least after giving herself double damage, precision, and haste. If the haste hits, you just might be able to make immediate use of the extra damage. The status effect of her other attacks aren't necessarily bad, but aren't the best (blind, damage reduction, and removing her own debuffs).

Tier 3:
11_1498671212809_Little_Red_Furry_Cap_3.jpg
Little Red Furry Cap is built for damage. The only problem is, you'll have to pair her with a supporter who can increase her output since she can't do it herself. If you can, she's a tier 2 attacker, but there's no guarantee. In addition to raw damage, she can bleed enemies and has an attack that remove 25% of the enemy's max life (helpful against tanks like Ouros or Adventure Island bosses).

9_1498671212809_Lau_Lau_3.jpg
If you can boost Lau Lau's power with another monster, she's also a tier 2 attacker. Her abilities deal massive damage and a couple cause bleeding. Her other abilities are nice to have, but don't really contribute to damage output: blind, stamina leak, removing debuffs, but what's a light monster without those abilities?

1_1498671212809_Commander_Alvid_3.jpg
Commander Alvid has an average damage output, but coupled with base damage, Alvid is a DoT attacker. She can burn all enemies, poison all enemies, and drain stamina from all enemies (if you keep a skills group 1 ability). So far, there's really no fire monster like Alvid. That uniqueness makes her very useful.

Tier 4:
0_1498671148063_Nidaria_3.jpg
Nidaria is an attacker/denier hybrid. She can freeze a single enemy, drain an enemy's stamina, and bleed and poison all enemies. Given that she walks that line between denier and attacker, don't rely on her to be your primary of either. Of course, she's only worth anything as a secondary attacker if you've got her equipped with strength runes.

4_1498671212809_Fampira_3.jpg
Being a vampire, Fampira steals life and causes bleeding. She can't boost her own damage and doesn't have the highest comparative damage, so she's not likely going to be your go-to. One thing of note is her ability to drain 50% stamina from all enemies, a useful denial skill.

Tier 5:
2_1498671212809_Cyan_Nathura_3.jpg
I think there may have been a time when Cyan Nathura was a decent attacker, but she's simply outclassed at this point. Like so many other nature monsters, she heals and poisons, but doesn't really do much else.

5_1498671212809_General_Shannara_3.jpg
There aren't too many magic attackers, so compared to them, General Shannara is a good attacker. Unfortunately, for her, she's simply outclassed by many of the ladies in this book. She can burn a single enemy, poison a single target, stun one enemy, and, as a general, is Tough.

0_1498671123206_Brynhilda_3.jpg
Even though her raw damage output should put Brynhilda higher than this, I don't because you're way more likely to use her as a denier (with speed runes) as she freezes and possesses enemies. If you decide to use her as an attacker with the appropriate strength runes, she could be a Tier 3 attacker.

Honorable Mention:
7_1498671212809_Incognita_3.jpg
Ok so, Incognita is NOT an attacker. She's a supporter (and an amazing one at that). But I have to mention her here. She can give your whole team double damage and precision. And then, if you're running it, her skill Mystic Retrieval deals a ridiculous 55 light damage to all enemies. This combo even beats out Leviana when she's running triple damage! Just keep her in mind.

General Thetys, Caillech, Mommy, Queen Luthien, Lilysha, and Violet are all deniers.

Sarah and Basthet are supporter/deniers. Kassia, Gretchen, Demise, and Bright are supporters.
