OK for the longest time I hated people coming and going as they pleased so I took the team private and it worked, but we did not always have 30 members. Sometimes we has a few as 20. Lately we have been doing well staying at 30, but are constantly recruiting. That is getting old. REAL old. So I thought, if I make the team open (which I have) it maybe easier to recruit. People can look around and see a little more of the team this way, especially our own team chat. My question though is there some perception in the general community (or rather prejudice) one way or the the other on open vs private.

@Kaiju We always change to open when we are desperate to find someone close to the next war or when we are ready for war but lost a player and need to go back to 30. The downside is that you tend to get a lot of rabble, so you need to have leads around to boot unsuitable players and to welcome and quizz players that seem worthy additions to the team. We are private at all other times!
