Hello everyone and welcome to my 159th analysis, this time featuring Samael the Disease Spreader.
Samael has the invaluable resurrection skill-two skills actually-which allows him to bring back a fallen ally to battle. The most important place for this move is Team Wars, in which the number of monsters that are alive at the end of a battle determines how many War Coins you'll get. Along with this, Samael has a skill that gives an ally an extra turn, and even though this Samael's version only gives 100% Stamina, it is still very powerful. He may have only 3454 Speed, but that nonetheless ties with Cavenfish and you can always design your team to have an attacker that isn't denied by the enemy denier(notice how hard I'm trying not to say the Light and Metal versions infinitely outclass and destroy this version, which they do and I don't see the reason why you'd pick this one if you are willing to spend money in the first place when the others actually have merit to their usage). Samael has no special Nemesis trait, but the good ol' Bulwark is still one of the best traits in the entire game to make him strong vs. all deny methods. However, even with Bulwark, Samael still falls prey to Stamina Drains and especially CDs Activated.

Runes: 3 Speed
(If you have all Group 3 moves learned on a Nemesis monster at the same time, the next time you'd normally learn a Group 3 move, a Group 4 move will show up instead. Using this method it's possible to have 2 Group 4 moves on a level 100 Nemesis, by replacing the 4th move you have with the Group 4 you're offered, then replacing one of the Group 3 moves with the other Group 4.)
Before anything, you may have noticed there is no slash next to Samael Servant even though it's a Group 4 move. There can be no replacement for this move and it's what makes this set in the first place, so you must have the move if you want to use this set, and probably all other sets since it's one of the things that makes Samael so powerful(probably THE thing), so buy him considering you'll have him at at least level 105. Plus, if you didn't have this move, this Samael wouldn't be worth it, not that it is with his 2 other forms around.
Cholera Epidemy is useful as an emergency high damage move with the added benefit of Nightmares. Pain Scourge is used to have some method of AOE damage and apply Daze to all enemies, plus removing all positive effects they may have such as General Nishant's Shadow Form. Unholy Resurrect revives an ally with 100% Life, but if you don't have access to this move, Necromantic Secrets will still suffice. Samael Servant is what makes this set, and it gives the 100% Stamina and an extra turn, which will allow the target to have the same Speed as this monster. 3 Speed is used to quickly use Samael Servant.
Teammates: This Samael needs an attacker to use Samael Servant on so that the target may move fast even with 1 Speed. Preferably, the target should have an AOE deny skill since with the absence of a damage boost, a wipe will be highly unlikely. 2 Strength 1 Speed Harusami is a very good candidate thanks to his AOE Stun. An important thing to know is revive mechanics: whenever a monster is resurrected, the turn order resets to start from the fastest, except it starts from the second fastest. This can be used to your advantage to set the turn order in a way which would benefit you.
Countering Samael the Disease Spreader: Since he has below 3465 Speed, denying this Samael is easier since many popular deniers are in that Speed range. However, Bulwark will still make things hard, so preferably use Stamina drain or CD activation. Samael the Fever Scatterer can one-shot this Samael with Smallpox Epidemy.
