Well here it is, it's now September where is the monster storage we were promised @Fox, @Carlos. Th ere's another breeding event and I have no place to put any new content. SP though keeps churning it out in record pace. What do you want players to sell off ranked monsters for the idiotic books which has placed more pressure on us while you do NOTHING ABOUT SPACE TO PLACE NEW CONTENT. Enough is enough keep your promises to the players not your fat wallets. The least you could do is allow us to store the eggs we breed instead of forcing us to hatch them.

Post count: 12373Reputation: 7516Joined:Location: New Jersey, USAIt's the 7th, the month has just started, it is a little early to be in an uproar about it not being delivered yet. Though I too am very eager for it. Give it more time, if we hit October then you can go into an uproar, and hey I will probably be joining you. I am tired of having to switch habs in and out of storage during these breeding events and when I am trying to rank. And my monster eggs are now in double digits in storage.

I am right there with her, I have NO space and this is after I got rid of all my breedable commons, uncommons and rare so yeah I know what she is going through. And I too want it but again it is on the 7th, it was promised in September not at the beginning of September. So again, let's give them a little time before going into an uproar.
Oh and it has been several months where I keep having to switch what my one free hab is when breeding and trying to extract so that I can get rid of monsters, forget about trying to rank. So me and my 355 hatched monsters know exactly the frustration and annoyance of having no room. I am beyond eager for this thing and have already started making plans of how many spots I will need to make my islands hospitable again for my primary monsters, and who will go into retirement.
But I am saving my chomping at the bit until the last week of September, if do not have it by then, my uproar and protesting signs will come out.

It is a rather weak excuse. I don't keep a phone more than 2 years and when I do, the battery tends to die. The one phone I replaced the battery on, never closed right afterwards.
I hope the moderators will let this link in because maybe it will shed some light on the how often do people upgrade argument. If not they can remove the link.
www.businessinsider. com/people-are-taking-longer-to-upgrade-their-smartphones-2016-6
Note this report (from BusinessInsider .com) shows a slowly increasing number of months before people upgrade, but is based on the US. Still 2016 shows about 30 months and extending the trend for 2017 to 2018 would be 32-34 months. So the smart phones in use when the game was first released are likely to have been upgraded by now.
On a personal note, I upgrade the tablet I play this game on after about a year. The constant swiping across the screen that is needed for navigation and clickiness of the game I am sure tend to wear out devices.
EDIT: Live links cannot stay, sorry.

I disagree, there are many users who do not upgrade as often as you do. In fact I have not upgraded my phone since 2009. However I happen to play my games on my tablet, if not for that then yeah I would be one of those users who do not upgrade often. And as a user who sometimes logs in using my ipad first generation, I can attest to the lag and problems with playing the game on an older device. So no it is not a weak excuse, they must accommodate all users whether on a recent device or older ones. Not to mention one of my team members has a recent phone, one of the Samsungs, and he has had nothing but problems with ML since he got it. So no not a weak excuse at all.

As I stated earlier, I do not upgrade my phone often, mainly because I do not use it often due to I do mostly everything on my tablet. My tablets do not have a set upgrade time, I just upgrade when it no longer meets my need. Mostly memory since these games and apps are getting to be memory hogs. But luckily I can say I have never had one break on me, in fact my son now has my latest tablet and my husband has the one I had before that. LOL I am on my 4th Kindle Fire whereas my husband is still on his first. I am on my 4th 10" tablet and my husband and son is still on their first. I am the only one with an ipad. I am still on my phone from 2009, though the battery died last year and T-Mobile replaced it for free, so technically I am on a newer phone...but anyway the hubby and son are on their 5th or 6th...so I guess you can see where my priorities lie. Heck I really only keep my phone for emergency purposes since I rarely use it.
But I say all this to say, do not assume that everyone or most everyone who plays has to have the latest and greatest every year or two, there are still lots of players who keep their phones for much longer.

It's too bad SP doesn't allow you to extract your single copy of a monster, store the cells in your vault and recraft them at a later date. Feeding them makes sense if you can afford to do it, you get 1 cell for every 2 levels you feed up in addition to your baseline of 50. I bred two extra Fliploch's and fed them both to 20 before extracting, and I'll get enough to rank mine up.

I agree, it is such a tedious process and then you still have to do an extra just to get the full amount of cells to extract that ranked one. Almost a month , two more and then I can rank and extract/retire my Ultrabot... And then you have these breeding events with all these epic fails and I would just love to throw them into storage to save to extract later. But nooooo you end up having to pay gems to extract more quickly or delete most to make room to continue. About the only I like about these breeding events is that I get lots of epic cells to extract for ranking epics so I clear room from them. This one alone I can now extract Rosanha and Wisteria...2 more slots free.

Post count: 43Reputation: 69Joined:@annihilator I have to say I agree with you, Lol. Swapping Islands every week and almost not participating in events in a year is to much. SP Has solutions - a similar function was implemented in Dragon City years ago. So it has nothing to do with considerations in respect to older phones etc.
SP might have many other technical issues taking up their resources though (glitches, the new multiplayer mode, complaints from users, Team Wars issues) - issues that might prolong their effort to deal with this matter. Personally I wished that monsters could hatch directly to extraction or go to storage. Both should be a non-issue solution (?!?). -

I'll ask for sharing the actual device usage percentage of ML players, just for curiosity.

... however, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini and I started to have the same problem which was introduced with an update a few months ago. Sometimes the whole game freezes for a few seconds before running again - highly annoying. Whilst my phone is loading the game faster, it actually runs smoother on my kids 5 year old tablets once they get past the initial lag period!

Post count: 1188Reputation: 1038Joined:Location: Australia@Nynaevelan Thanks, that's what I do on a regular basis (every few weeks, even go into recovery to wipe cache partition!) which makes little difference on my phone, but certainly improves performance on my kids tablets for a while. I also make sure that there are at least a couple of GB of available space as no space affects all sorts of games. So it's definitely the game and the laginess started with an update maybe 4 or 5 months ago. Had intermittent problems with updates before on occasion and a follow up one usually fixed things. However, despite many updates since, it hasn't gone away!

Carlos, it would be nice if you/SocialPoint could give some high level details about how the Super Habitat is going to work. If you have not noticed, they are starting to be a lot of expectations being created about it. If SocialPoint really wants to avoid huge backlash and negative feedback/comments, you guys should really start addressing them now and let the user community know what they should be expecting.

Not sure how people have that problem of not having enough physical space to all 90 habitats. For the people that do have that problem, the super habitat, aka monster vault, really is not needed.

Why wouldn't it be needed? It is exactly needed. I have all 90 habs placed and all except one is full, with 3 or 4 with 1 spot free. So I need the room so that I can 1. make room to pull monsters out of storage and 2. place monsters while they wait to be leveled and extracted. With this I hope to free up at least 4 or 5 habs so that I can extract more than 1 element at a time.

No seems to have answered this. I have a player who it looks like may have to sell off a few monsters to make room for this. I hope that is not the case. It would kind of defeat the purpose of the building in the first place. Or maybe they are going to let you store a habitat that has monsters? Somehow I think not, because that would get rid of the need to do anything.

They shouldn't have to sell any monsters, as Haka said if they cannot store a farm or two then just sell them and rebuy them. That would be better than selling monsters and/or habs. Or they can store the colliseum of they still have it. But my farms give me the option to store it, so store a farm or two. Put some monsters in the vault, store the hab and bring your farm(s) back out. Easy Peasy.

If you only have 47 habitats for example( because you can not afford to buy new islands ), then the monster vault( super habitat ) should not be available to you. Buy the islands and add the other habitats. That is part of the game. With all the islands purchased, there is more than enough free space for all 90 habitats and loads of decorations. There is no need to put things into storage to place the monster vault.

And when you have all islands and habs? There is room for 360 monsters in the habs, there are 474 monsters, where are you putting the other 114?? And this does not take into account duplicates. Also, I am not sure it is wise to force people to buy the islands. If they want to buy and store them, that should be their choice. BTW I have NO room for deco, except my premier statues. Also now that you think about it, maybe people would want to store and make their islands more decorative. The possibilities are endless, such as storing dupes for cells and such. Just because you or I do not think it is necessary or reasons to use it, does not make it unnecessary.

You misunderstand what Keith is saying. He is saying that with max habitats there is still enough physical space to place the vault without needing to store any buildings. And that is correct, if you dont have decorations clutter.

Rumor has it it will be like the Dragonarium in DC where you get a few free ones than you have to buy any remaining slots with gems. My biggest concern is going to be the cost of the slots, I hope it is not high for the higher slots and they have sales for them as DC does. This building will interfere with me buying any more monsters because I am not buying any until I figure out how much room I can make with it.
I am a collector not a fighter, need I say more? Oh yeah....and female. ;)

I am still holding out hope and squeezing my crossed fingers and toes that it gets released sometime in the next 12 days. Or as a birthday present for me by the eighth of October.

No monster storage as promised
Post count: 8Reputation: 1Joined:I have 358 Monsters and 90 habitats ( all of them with four monsters) I also have 8 legendary monster in storage, ready to be hatched, but I have no place to put them. I already deleted all the commun monsters. I can't use the cells to create more monsters because they go to hatch, not to storage, and i don't want my hatching tree full.
I'm waiting for the monster storage but it hasn't happen. why don't increase the number of islands or more then 4 in the habitats?
Please do something.
