I sometimes buy gems for a good monster deal, but this time I really want most/all of the monsters in the Space Raiders maze.

I don't really want Octex, but I cannot unlock Himass unless I get him, so that's a shame.

I will probably get Globrush for free this weekend, and that leaves me 15 days or so to obtain Himass - via Octex - for free. This sounds a bit unlikely to me.

Is 9000 coins for £48.99 a good deal?

@Clackers I'd recommend you wait closer to the end before buying Maze Coins. The 50% deal will pop again right before it ends and/or on the last day.

You can get a better evaluation of how many you need then, and not end up with "wasted" extras.

But yes, it can be worth it if you want the monsters. Also don't forget you should be offered a special cell pack after, for any of the L's you get from the maze.

I do not recommond to buy any maze coins. Because maze coins are much more expensive than gems. How many maze coins do you have to spend on getting one L monster? Maybe from 5000 to 20000. And how many gems for one L monster? Sometimes, it can be 267, maximum 2300. If one monster does not only appear in maze and you are not eager to get it, be patient and wait until you get discount on both gem and monster, it can save a lot of money.
