Hello everyone and welcome to my 170th analysis, this time featuring Dr. Viktor.
Dr. Viktor used to be one of the few Thunder deniers, but with the release of things like Tempest and Boltcaster, he lost a lot of his luster. Even in the Undead book the presence of Harusami and Will "Razor Face" is a deterrent from using him. These, however, don't mean that Dr. Viktor is bad: nothing could be further from the truth. Other than an AOE Stun, Dr. Viktor has an AOE Burn+Blind, which is one of the things that elevated Eggeater to such great heights. Not only that, but he also has the potential to be a great attacker: 3532 Base Strength is no laughing matter. However, as said before, the amount of power creep and changes in the metagame hurt Dr. Viktor greatly, plus he has low Life and a trait that is not bad but definitely not good. Creating the Monster Lab too. That was a BAD decision.

-Electrical Area
-AC/DC Area
-Stimulating Charge
-It's Alive!
Runes: 3 Speed/2 Strength 1 Speed
Electrical Area is an AOE Stun. AC/DC Area applies the ever-powerful Blind to all enemies in addition to Burn, and these two serve very efficiently to both deny deniers and wither down the enemy team. Stimulating Charge is basically 28 free Stamina whenever you use it. Lastly, It's Alive! is just high damage, which you may sometimes need. 3 Speed is the denier build and 2 Strength 1 Speed is the attacker build. 2 Speed 1 Strength may be considered, but the monster's rank and/or Rune levels must be high.

Teammates: A denier is necessary for all teams. As an attacker, Dr. Viktor has no definite synergy, but try to use a denier that doesn't have AOE Stun as its deny method since a tactic you can employ is to deny the enemy team first with your main denier, then after when they try to move and lose a turn, use Electrical Area with Dr. Viktor, resulting in something similar to an AOE Mega Stun.

Countering Dr. Viktor: Harusami has more Speed in Undead, and Nexor, Tempest and Boltcaster have more Speed in Thunder. They can easily deny Dr. Viktor before he moves. Debuff removal can be very helpful against AC/DC Area since both Burn and Blind are great nuisances.
